Le Pressoir Normand

The Pressoir Normand, nestled in the heart of nature and the Orne bocage, offers a calm and authentic setting to recharge your batteries. In summer, with its large garden, and in winter around the fireplace, you are surrounded by the beauty of the countryside. This place owes its name to the old press on the premises, currently being restored, which testifies to the local history and the cider-making cultural tradition of the region.

Only 2 hours by train and 2h30 by car from Paris, the place is perfect for combining relaxation and discovery of the treasures of the region.

Our accommodation is a stone farmhouse, full of charm and authenticity. All the rooms of the house are decorated with care. The beds are double in each of the bedrooms for optimal comfort.

Inside, the space is warm and friendly. A large living room, with high ceilings, including a living room, a fitted kitchen, an open dining room, four bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room, ideal for getting together with family or friends.
In winter, the imposing fireplace of the cottage creates a cocooning atmosphere perfect for warming up after a day of discovery in our beautiful Normandy region.

Outside, a large garden awaits you, with a brazier for convivial barbecues and a field where you can admire sheep (depending on the season). The tranquility of the place is accentuated by the river La Maire which borders the field, offering an idyllic setting to relax in the middle of nature. Why not try a little fishing? Trout await you in the calm waters of the river. Meditation, yoga sessions, the spot is perfect!

There is the possibility to order fresh bread, eggs, crème fraîche and other farm products to start the day on a gourmet note.
