The hot tub, the wood burning fire stove, the comfy sofa, the incredibly comfy bed…. And then the view. Oh those views! "

"We just wanted a quiet get away for a couple of days close to the North Cascades. We had hoped to see the fall foliage but it turned out we came a couple weeks early for the best of that. We stopped by the ranger station there in Darrington, and then drove up to Rockport and on to Newhalem to see what fall leaves we could. The cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. We loved sitting in the hot tub on the back deck and also sitting beside the Sauk River in the back of the property."

"This place was amazing. Easily one of the most relaxing places my wife and I have ever stayed. The access to the river is phenomenal, and the views from the hot tub were unbelievable. This cabin, and all the others on the compound are right on the river, perfect location for fly fishing, hiking, climbing, and a trip to Leavenworth for a day trip. Nick the host, was simply the best, he has put a tremendous effort into this compound and it shows in every detail. I can;t think of anything that I would improve! I'll be back next summer for sure!"
