Great little beach house. County License# 6012116
Walk to the bay or downtown in 2 minutes. Restaurants, bars and a market all 2 blocks away. Private entrance completely private with no shared space. The space I remodeled this unit with all my previous stays at arbnb and hotels in mind. One of my priorities was usb ports being nearby. I have 16 usb ports available throughout the place. I also like a good shower that doesn't scald you if another faucet is turned on. I put in new plumbing to prevent that. A new bed and a variety of pillows with protective liners to choose from is also important to me. I think it has all helped me to make staying here very pleasant. Please note: My cat, Sylvester, has taken over many of my hosting duties. He will greet you and probably escort to the unit. Many guests have fallen in love with him. Jett, my dog, is also very friendly. If you don't want to be greeted by the dog, please send me a note and I will restrict his access to the yard as much as possible. I can not keep the cat from his duties. He comes and goes at will, and I can't keep him in. Other things to note I have a young dog, Jet, two cats, Sylvester and Sally. They are all very friendly. They do not go into the guest unit but love any attention they can get. I keep cat and dog treats on the desk. Feel free to hand out treats if you like.

We really enjoyed our days in the “great little beach house”. The place was well equipped, nicely decorated, and so convenient to the laid back Los Osos community. Tom was easy to communicate with and helpful. Don’t miss the Audubon Overlook at the end of the street for great birding and bay views!
Nice, spotless clean place! The mattress was firm and comfortable. Great location: just a 2-minute walk from the bay and a short drive to Morro Bay downtown or Montaña de Oro State Park. The kitchen has everything needed for a short stay. Tom is a great host, assisted by his helpers Silvester and Jet. We enjoyed our stay!"
This rental is well located and near restaurants and things to do in the area. Tom's description is spot-on, Sylvester and Jet are very friendly. We even coaxed the shy cat, Sally to interact with us. We had a great visit!
This cottage is the perfect get away. It is new, modern, clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Tom, the host, even has the kitchen stocked with soup, ice cream bars, popcorn and more. The canine and feline hosts are as hospitable as the human host and great entertainment. We will definitely be back!
Found this gem when looking for an affordable place to stay when coming to central CA coast for a wedding. It was meticulously clean and set up very nicely in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the special touches of extra USB ports and great lighting. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a simple meal and the owner left us a couple of goodies in the frig. The bed was super comfortable with great pillows. Definitely recommend. The owner and his dog are very friendly but allow you space and privacy.
The condition of Tom's place is pristine. Having the bedroom/living area separate from the kitchen was a nice design. The spaces are brand new. He's still working on the back yard which when completed will be a major a major benefit also. The location was perfect: a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to the Elfin Forest or to town. For groceries there is a Ralph's market in Los Osos only 6 minute drive away. There is a marvelous breakfast place Celia's Garden near Ralphs also.
Drive to the State Forest and bird sanctuary only 10 minutes drive around the bay. Easy on to highway 1 from there to drive up the coast.
It worked out great for me and I am sure for others in the future.
Tom was absolute great! Communication was great, Jet and Sylvester were very welcoming. The place itself was really nice and had everything we needed for the weekend. Thank you for a great time and thank you for taking the time and chat with us for a minute.
Yes, the host was welcoming. So were the Tuxedo kitties & his dog! The room is private & the bed is soft & comfy. After dark the stars seem so close, like you could touch them. Tom is very friendly & helpful.Nice!
Very clean, organized, and full of personality. The decor was coastal and charming, especially the adorable signs on the doors and all through the unit. The owner, Tom, was so hospitable but you know who was even more hospitable? Sylvester the cat who always wanted treats and to stay with us. So cute! Bed: Perfect for two who love soft mattresses. Bathroom: Aka “Poop Deck” was clean and modern. Nice white towels, body wash, hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Kitchen: Aka “The Galley” has stainless steel cookware provided (pots, pans), black plastic cooking utensils, stainless steel eating utensils, knives. For cooking, an electric hotplate with two burners provided, toaster oven, cooking oil, salt, pepper, microwave. The oil was likely leftover from previous guests so bring your own just in case! Tom provided some surprise goodies in the freezer (chicken pot pie, burrito, popsicles) and pantry snacks (popcorn, instant noodles). Also provided were coffee maker, coffee pods, tea, Chemex for pour over so bring your own coffee grinds. Patio: Private and shaded. There are 2 outdoor outlets for electricity. I used it to charge my electric scooters. Attached In-Law Unit: Through this is a very lovely and comfortable understand that it’s attached to the owner’s primary residence. It’s a converted master bedroom. You’d have to be okay with sharing walls and a locked door that separates your room from the main home. It’s walking distance to a coastal Audubon Overlook.
