"5 minutes walking distance to the centre. Restaurants and bars very near. Open air car parking at €1 was 6 minutes away, at the rear of the Mercadona supermercado . Do not use the Plaza España underground parking as it is hugely expensive . The apartment we had was clean and ok, but modernization is definitely needed. "

"The rooms are clean and spacious, with all the necessary amenities. Unfortunately, the pools are icy cold and unusable by kids and adults. The food is average, but interestingly, the all-inclusive deal does not include drinks at lunchtime or dinner. Not even water or soft drinks. Breakfast includes juices and water. The WiFi internet is abysmal, with a lot of drop-offs. Rooms are meant to be non-smoking, but visitors do smoke on a balcony, so the balcony door needs to be shut to avoid smoke...

"Very reasonably priced. Great location for getting to the centre of Nerja. Room was basic, nice comfortable bed and great shower. Only one problem, we stayed in room 4, and even after we had left the windows open for a long time, there was a very musty almost mouldy smell, which obviously wasn't the best!"

"The hotel was clean and tidy and in a good position on the seafront. Good facilities, coffee machine, hairdryer etc.. in room. Glass case shower in room with no privacy was a bit weird, but it functioned well. View from balcony was very nice. Only negative was Herradura itself. Seemed like it was closed in part. Not much there, unless you are a water sports enthusiast. But hotel was a nice base for the surrounding area. "

"This place was great value for money. A short €1 bus ride to lots of bars, restaurants nice beaches. Very friendly staff and the grounds were well tended. Didn't get any maid service during our stay and I thought it was a bit cheeky to have to pay for sun loungers. It's a very hilly area so some people may struggle but overall a great getaway with some beautiful scenery "
