Comfortable and cozy.
This unit was clean and comfortable with basically what was advertised. However, we had ongoing challenges with the TV, and the hotplate didn't work.

Terrible experience
Where we stayed at is a room part of a house, conditioned for a guest; however it is separated with a single normal door and you can hear everything. They had two dogs and the constant barking was terrible it was 11:40 pm and the yelling at the dogs and the barking made it a terrible experience. We will never come back there.

Not quite as advertised
This room was attached to the main house. Which would have been fine if the walls weren’t paper thin and the dog in the house didn’t bark at everything. There was laundry being done at 10:30pm, and on Sat evening the homeowner came into their side of the house at 2-3am (which woke up the dog), which meant anyone staying would also be woken up. Close to where I needed to be, which was a plus. Shower was tiny and the only heat in the room was a small space heater. Not quite what I thought I was going to get from the pictures.

There's bad smell coming in the room. There's just 1 small heater provided for entire property which is not enough. It's cold outside at night. Also, water is coming very very slow from tap in bathroom basin.

A fantastic space, worth every penny!
This property is exactly as advertised. It’s a small but comfortably spacious room perfect for a single traveler or couple, in a quiet and safe neighborhood, very close to food, shopping, gas and the highways (took me less than an hour to get to Hollywood and less than a half hour to get to the beach and Disneyland.) It was also clean and fully stocked with the necessities. The refrigerator, freezer and microwave were a plus. The grounds are immaculate, you can tell the owners really care about their rental. For the price, it’s absolutely worth it. I was highly satisfied and definitely recommend it. Thanks so much, Glecy!

Liked the cleanliness, refrigerator, kitchen microwave, aircon and easy checking in/out. Didn't like the shower knob, the left knob is defect it's hard to turn and the towels were not good. One bath towel with hairs and the other is with stains. We didn't use it. Asked to change it but they didn't change it. We used our own towels. But we like the place.

This is the second time I stayed there bud I think it's the last, the was not problem at the first time but this second time was very disappointing, the tv was broken at least 5 days and the people next door there are always watching you, and when you are not in the room they enter without asking you

Awesome little place for a few nights stay. Very unique private spot. Only issue I had was during the day the room got pretty warm even with the ac and fans running. Other than that great little spot super convenient to everything near Torrance.

Great short stay
This accommodation was great for my stay in Los Angeles. Clean, spacious, and featuring a large fridge with a mini-freezer and kitchenette, I was able to store and prepare my own food - something I require due to allergies. The bed is incredibly comfy, and the unit is well-ventilated from a combination of windows, electric fans, and Air Conditioning. The accommodation is also great for public transport - being a 5-10 minute walk from Carson bus station. All these features made this an amazing stay at a great price point. My only criticisms are that some upkeep tasks could be performed a little better; the bedsheet had holes across which I can only assume were from a previous occupant (but was still very clean!), and you need to jiggle the toilet handle after flushing - but this issue was quickly resolved after messaging the property owner who's communication and helpfulness was unbeatable throughout my stay. TLDR: I would love to stay here again. The accommodation is perfect for a short stay in LA and has everything you need at a reasonable price.

Cute Cozy Cottage in Carson California
Over all we had a pleasant stay. The neighbor behind us was friendly, the gardening he did was lovely. Our cottage screamed of cutness; it was just the right size, we loved the open ceiling and the pirce was spot on! However there were several quirks that could have easily been fixed by spending a couple bucks at a local Goodwill store. Had this cottage not already been rented for the entire week, we would have gladly stayed longer and corrected the following issues 1. Bed side lamp switch was broken 2. Only had 1 chair to sit at the dining table, (the matching chair had been left outside in multiple pieces). 3. There was a bench under and behind the dining table but it too was broken. 4. The dresser (we assumed was for our clothes) was actually being used to hold plates and flatware and the face of one drawer had broken off completely. Happly there was a great size closet & hangers; perfect for our clothes. 5. The bathroom mirror assembly was missing a bulb. 6. The front door keyless assembly was very touchy. 7. There was a moldy container of margarine left in the fridge...yuck! 8. The wifi passcode was not posted anywhere... The upside was it had all the basics for cooking up some fantastic meals on the griddle, a full size feidge, plenty of hot water, a space heater, outdoor lighting, a green space outside, a laundry, and off the street parking!!! We felt very comfortable, very safe, and we would definately come back 😀

Perfect location if you're visiting both Los Angeles and Disney! The lock was a little difficult and the Wi-Fi signal wasn't great but other than those things it was a 10/10!!

I really wanted to like this place. It is close to my work and convenient to many restaurants. The neighborhood felt OK safety-wise and surprisingly, the freeway noise wasn't bad. The architecture is charming with the tall ceiling and fireplace. Unfortunately the complex (three units here) and the unit itself are poorly maintained. Uncut lawn. Abandoned shopping carts in the backyard. Broken window panes in the French doors. Baseboard falling off. The particle board furniture is falling apart. The bath vanity was missing a light bulb. The whole thing felt dismal. Worse yet the door at the back of the unit which separates it from the other unit is a thin, interior grade door with a flimsy lock on it -- like a bathroom door. The other inmates were doing laundry and talking past 10PM. It could be so much better! Replace that flimsy door and put a dead bolt on it. Fix the broken stuff. Put a proper electric heater INSIDE the fireplace. Use normal Howard Johnson quality linens. Cut the grass and get rid of the abandoned shopping carts. Install proper motion sensor lights on the side of the house to help people through the gate.

Was a cute property and great location. Really close to everything. Would recommend updates though. The roof was leaking and dripping water onto the bed. The shower head needs to be replaced because when you try to adjust it just falls off and sprays water everywhere. There was a broken tile right inside the door that was just covered up with a rug. On the plus side, the bed was super comfy and the smart tv was a plus.

Here on vacation
I stayed for 5 nights, the room was clean and as listed, I wasn't able to watch the tv because there was an issue with the memory being full on the fire stick, but I didn't spend much time in the room so it wasn't a big deal. The location was pretty close to several places to eat which was nice, overall it was worth the price.

This place was not bad for the price! The bed was big and comfortable, the shower was very small but worked fine, and it’s connected to another place. The neighbors argued very loudly one night at 2 in the morning for hours which was very frustrating. There was a miscommunication on parking but overall it was a good experience!

It was a delightful or stand there at the house and it was convenience to public transportation
Oh this is a nice place to stay for the price two thumbs up but it had reached 90's degrees a couple of days when I was there it get too warm inside so doing that times I always get out and about to enjoy myself there is a fan and small AC but seen to work better at night when the sun has gone away. It is convenient to public transportation and there are groups of buses that runs in that area and just walking distance just a good place to stay for outer towner

Park in the driveway do not park on the street! Someone also came into my room around 1 o’clock in the morning. I don’t know if my room was double booked or not. That was a bit alarming! And I looked on the streets and did not see a sign that was obvious so I did end up with a $45 ticket

We provided you parking on the driveway, if you preferred to park on the street that was your choice. There was no double booking.

Great place to and convenient location.
Initially had a hiccup with the location but communication with the owner and their assistant helped clear things up. Neighbors were quiet and kept to themselves(neighbor in the back has a small and quiet flock of chickens that are fun to watch!) Has a full size fridge that allowed me to keep water and snacks nice and cold. A huge comfy king size bed that was great to sleep in. Ceiling fan was not working but that was offset with a cold A/C and pedestal fan that helped keep the room nice and cool. If you rent this room, make sure you go to the left side of the driveway and through the gate as the room is in the back of the main house. A great place to stay and will look to rent from this place again next time I’m in town!

Great Honeymoon Stay
My husband and I are newlyweds and we chose this as our honeymoon spot. It’s a good 20-30 minutes away from downtown LA, Santa Monica Pier, Hollywood and Disneyland. It’s a great central spot in a quiet and calm town. There’s plenty of food spots in the surrounding area, as well as a Walmart. The only downside was the TV, which is not the mounted one seen in the picture. It’s a small 24” TV which is kind of hard to see from the bed. The king-sized bed was great. Caution: the shower has poor temperature control; it fluctuates between cold and scalding if being used in other parts of the house. Overall, it was a great stay and my husband and I look forward to staying here in the future.
