Charming Duplex with Private Backyard
Located in the mid-Wilshire neighborhood, this charming 1-bedroo/1-bathroom duplex is in the heart of LA . You are 15-minute away to West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Korean town, downtown, and Culver city. The unit is sitting in the middle of a very safe and quiet neighborhood, yet you can find so many local restaurants, cafe, shops and grocery stores within just a 10-minute walk.
This charming duplex is bright, spacious, and tastefully furnished giving you the feeling of home. The unit includes a spacious living room with a big couch, a kitchenette equipped with all essentials (mini fridge, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, dinnerware and glassware. Please note that there is NO stove or kitchen sink), a very large bedroom with a king bed and a walk-in closet, and a large bathroom with a stand up shower and a bathtub. The unit also includes a private backyard with a sitting area to entertain friends and families. You will have a parking permit that allows you free 24x7 street parking (one car only). There is plenty of parking space since the street parking is for permitted residents only.
No illegal drugs of any kind allowed in the property. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the house, but you can smoke in the back yard. No parties is allowed. No guest visit after 10:00 pm. Please keep noise/TV/music down to minimum as it's a duplex that share common walls/door with the other unit.
Please note that the firepit in the backyard is decorative only (not usable).

This is a great property! I enjoyed my stay very much. The property is immaculately clean—so impressive! The bed is comfortable, there were plenty of supplies(towels, cups, etc) and the AC kept me comfy. Such an easy and quick walk to LaBrea and Wilshire.
This was my first time visiting LA, and I will definitely be coming back! MJ was communicative, a great host, and provided wonderful accommodations! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The place is cute, with a nice amount of room for a couple. Location is very ideal, not too far from beach but also easy access to Koreatown and reasonable access to downtown. MJ is a good and quick communicator.
We spent 4 nights here and have already booked another stay. It was a very clean and spacious place. No stove but food delivery was easy and places to eat close by. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. It had such a private feel to it and it was just what we were looking for!
My second stay at MJs place and it's still comfy, cozy, clean and quiet. The location is very centralized and walkable to many places such as Target, several grocery options, restaurants, transit etc. Neighborhood is awesome...one of my favs in the city. I will return MJ!
Clean, easy, simple. MJ was very communicative, the property exactly as advertised, and was within walking distance of everything we needed. If we'd had a car, we could have parked it. Amazing. We'll be back.
I loved this place! It was perfect for my quick solo trip to L.A. It's centrally located near museum row (which you can even walk to!) and restaurants, coffee, etc. The bed is very comfortable, and the rental is quiet, and I'm a light sleeper so that's something I really need. The host was great at communicating all details. I'll definitely book again when I need to visit L.A.
Cozy but spacious, an easy place to "be" and a convenient place to come and go from. Excellent and comfortable furnishings, pleasant outdoor patio, and very easy to adapt to the "minimalist" kitchen, especially since there are great places to eat in LA! The bathroom is large with tub and shower, accessories are provided, and the entire place is private and quiet. Host MJ is thoughtful and communicates promptly. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
First of all MJ is outstanding! Great communication and quick. Location is awesome as this is in a very established neighborhood and very centralized. You can walk to just about anything including Target. All creature comforts are available including a really nice comfy bed and awesome tub. Spacious and well equipped with a relaxing backyard. This small apartment had nice outdoor space, challenging street parking, and a good location for walking to attractions. The apartment was clean and the bed was very comfortable, we caught up on sleep! The 'kitchen' is a tiny closet with a mini fridge and coffee maker, but no sink. Had to wash dishes and fill water in the bathroom. Overall a good value for location and amenities.

This is a great location and VRBO. I highly recommend it. I searched high and low at all the different options for this area of LA and decided to go with this VRBO. The neighborhood it is in is super nice and feels very safe. The parking was super easy since the house shares the street with an elementary school. However, it was the back side of the school so there wasn't a ton of noise or anything from the school.The actual rental is way nicer than it appears in the photos. It's a lot bigger, the furniture is very comfortable (best bed we slept in the whole trip) and the outdoor area was enjoyable to sit in during the mornings and afternoon. Only thing I wish was that their was more of a legit kitchen, but the listing clearly states that there is no kitchen so that isn't the VRBOs fault. What the listing says is there is indeed there and even a little more.All that to say, if you're on the fence, just go ahead a book this place. Great option for this area of LA!
This is a very nice space in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Self check in was easy with a lockbox. The space is clean and has a huge bedroom and bathroom. The kitchenette area has everything you need for coffee or snacks (no stove). There is also a nice seating area outside that is perfect for morning coffee from the Keurig. Within walking distance to La Brea where there are several very good places - a bakery (Raji), restaurants (Met Him at a Bar, Met Her at a Bar) and bars (All Seasons Brewing, Little Bar). And even more dining options within walking distance north to Wilshire. Also close to the bus line - took the bus to Hollywood and also to Downtown during my stay. I would definitely stay here again.
