Perfect for our trip
This property was perfect for our time volunteering on San Diego Zoo Rose Parade float. It is equal distance between the Rose Bowl and Old Town Pasadena so we could walk everywhere. The host was very responsive answering questions. The only negative was all the stairs.

Special Spot in Pasedena
This is a delightful spot if staying in Pasedena and an especially convenient location if attending an event at Rose Bowl Stadium. My husband and I enjoyed the beauty, quiet, remote feel, and lush greenery of the hillside neighborhood. Especially enjoyed all the fragrant lavender! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Owner was very helpful and responsive to questions regarding the area. We walked to and from Rose Bowl Stadium. Old Pasedena is just a short 5 minute drive away. Easy drive to The Huntington Botanical Gardens which we highly recommend.

Excellent hosts
They make it easy to stay in a separate apartment that is attached to the main house. Everything you need is provided for you. They were easy to communicate with and answered all my questions quickly. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful
The apartment is in a beautiful residential location surrounded by trees and view of the mountains. There are steps down and up to access the well furnished, lovingly restored comfortable, and spotless guest house/ apartment. The hosts communicated well (even creating a video of how to get up to the apartment). We met the delightful hosts when they stopped by to drop off a bottle of wine and a few other items and we're happy they did. We are glad we chose this property.

Great Spot!
We had a wonderful visit at this location. We were able to walk to the Rose Bowl for a UCLA football game. The guest house was clean, beautiful, & cozy. Jeffery was a great host & was available when needed. 5/5!

Wonderful weekend !
This property was quiet and had a cozy feel tucked away. Close enough to everything you need in Pasadena and downtown LA but quiet and relaxing! Everything was so clean and comfortable! Would definitely stay here again.

Not quite what we were expecting
The apartment is part of a beautiful property in the Pasadena hills. Unfortunately, we were directly underneath the kitchen (the living area) and could hear footsteps (and smell dinner). There is only a small front porch with a tiny table and old chairs....there is a beautiful patio that we could see as part of the house that was not accessible to guests. Since it was summer, I hoped to be able to sit outside in the evenings when we weren't sightseeing or visiting friends. The house is also in need of a deep cleaning, the lights, curtains, windows and window sills were all quite dirty.

My mom stayed in the main house and me and my new husband stayed in the apartment. In town for our wedding ! The apartment is private and beautiful! Perfect place to retreat from all the wedding activity! Beautiful neighborhood

Peaceful and attractive
This is a charming apartment, perfect for a couple, with personal touches that make it comfortable and welcoming… Secluded in the north arroyo but a short drive to Old Town Pasadena. The host, Jeffery, is very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Hillside 1 Bedroom Suite With Mountain and Garden Views
My wife and I enjoyed this special home, which is very close to Downtown Pasadena, the Rose bowl, Cal Tech, JPL, and The Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens. The surrounding homes/neighborhood are beautiful and make arriving and leaving the home very pleasant. The property requires going up and down stairs, but this was not a problem for us, as it made it very unique. Once inside, the accommodations were very comfortable, very spacious, with everything we could need. The owner Jeffery was very responsive and great to deal with, and he even provided us a bottle of wine to enjoy. Our adult daughter recently relocated to Pasadena and we plan to come here again, and we are glad we found this rental as we would love to stay here again.

Wish I could live in Pasadena
They say reminded me how much I love Pasadena. High quality neighborhood, services close by and superb host. We arrived near dusk and the owners son was there to greet us. No problems accessing the apartment and everything we needed was there. A perfect stay!

Comfortable Stay
The owners asked ahead if we prefer red or white wine and, when we arrived, were greeted with a lovely bottle of red. The place is nicely furnished, very comfortable. Private with nice views. Whenever we plugged anything into the gps it seems like we were 20 minutes away from wherever we needed to go to visit, a very convenient location for us. The only thing to be aware of (which was not an issue for us but might be for someone with mobility issues) is the stairs to access the place. A set of stairs to go down around to the back, and then some stairs to go up to the door. Enjoyed our stay.

Great Location for Pasadena and the Rose Parade
The property was perfect for us to attend the 2022 Rose parade. It was a 15 min walk to our seats, by the Norton Simon Museum. Making this a terrific place to get to Old Town Pasadena with a 20-25 min walk. The place reminded me of places we rented while in Italy and Spain, on the side of a hill with some decent views of Pasadena and the surrounding hills. Jeffery was terrific, in his communications and checked in several time to verify that everything was going well without stay. Due to Covid we never actually met but he was always just a text away if we needed anything. The place also provides easy access to 134 freeway making it very simple to get around. Thank you Jeffery you place was terrific and for making our first Rose Parade a sucess!!

Nice place to stay
The apartment is attached to the main house, but with a separate entrance down and then up exterior stairs. The owners are very welcoming, the place is attractive and private, and we enjoyed our stay.

Unique and special
This is a very special place close to everything but beautiful and feels like you are far away in a secluded, serene hillside villa. Owner extremely responsive and accommodating. Place was spotlessly clean and well stocked. We come here often and usually stay at the Courtyard—-so glad we found this place and will be back again.

Lovely Apartment
This apartment was lovely, spacious and beautifully decorated. We were greeted with a bottle of wine when we arrived. After a long day of travelling, this was most welcomed! Would have loved to sit outside on the small deck, but the freeway noise was a bit much. The queen bed was very comfortable and enjoyed the keurig coffee setup in the mornings. Jeff checked in regularly and was responsive to any questions we had. The neighborhood is beautiful and has great views!

Serene and peaceful apartment
This is a Serene gem in the hills of Pasadena. Peaceful and simple and elegant with stunning view of the Colorado /Pasadena bridge. The apartment was perfect for a romantic weekend, roomy One bedroom and comfortable bed, spacious living room and views of the trees and hillside from the corner window and an ample kitchen /cooking space despite the smaller two pan range . You have access to a small propane grill on the balance/landing space But overall you can easily make your meals - just make sure you open the windows for enough ventilation into kitchen area if you plan to cook your meals . The apartment is perfect for a quiet weekend in this wonderful hillside area of Arroyo Seco, with fantastic views and delightful estate homes in the area, including the host home. Excellent host with quick response to questions . Love this place Perfect for a couple or single person in need of a quiet place to rest and restore . We will back as often as we can !
