Gorgeous property with great views!
We are a family of 5 who recently stayed for a week at this wonderful property. The layout was perfect for our teenagers/young adults with friends. The area downstairs created privacy for them, but there was also plenty of room upstairs to cater for everyone. The view was magnificent from both inside and on the deck. It was well positioned, close to town. A short walk up a steep hill is needed on the way home. All provisions were there, and Julie was a fabulous host!

Comfy stay
Our family stay of 12 people was a very good experience. Bed linen, towels provided were super clean. Kitchen had all amenities for us to cook on the premises. The terrace view of the ocean was very serene with ample of sitting area for a large group. Highly recommend this stay.

Space to spread out
Ocean Valley View is true to its name, with a lovely outlook to the sea and the forest. Like most of Lorne, it is a stiff walk up the hill, and steps to the house, but is quite close to the beach and shops. We didn't use the car unless we were heading further afield. 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs with their own rec room suited our dual generation group, with plenty of room for everyone to find a quiet or convivial corner, inside and out. Bring an eye mask if you prefer a dark bedroom in the morning as there are no block out blinds, although it is very pleasant to wake up to the filtered view through the mesh blind.

Family weekend
The property is in a great location, within walking distance to town. The house was just beautiful and had plenty of room for 10 women to have a great laugh over dinner. The views were spectacular and the host Julie is wonderful. Highly recommend for families and we will be back

Family weekend away
Thank you for a wonderful stay. The property exceeded my expectations. The photos don’t do it justice. Was clean, well appointed and inviting. We had a cold first day so the fire was great. Then the sun came out and the sunshine on the deck was beautiful. Thank you again and would love to return .

Tree change with ocean views
A perfect house for a relaxing getaway, thanks to our hosts. We were a group of nine adult family members and from the moment we arrived, felt right at home, with plenty of space, a well appointed kitchen and living area and of course a beautiful outlook amongst the treetops with inquisitive King Parrots to greet us. The wood heater kept us cosy throughout our stay with plenty of wood supplied. We’d love to return.

What a wonderful place
Amazing property and seamless customer service provided by Rose. My friends and I had a wonderful weekend away and made many unforgettable memories. The property was stunning and even better in real life! With amazing and spacious entertainment areas both upstairs and downstairs, lovely clean bedding and towels, plenty of utensils and an awesome view of the ocean. Thank you so much for having us ❤️

Fantastic getaway for families and friends
This was a really fantastic property, great location and vibes! The view from the balcony is incredible, especially at dawn and sunset when all the native birds are active (you may want to wear insect repellent at sunset). The beds were extremely comfortable, no extra bedding was required. The towels were plush and soft to use. Due to covid, no condiments were supplied, however there were cleaning products available, as well as extra toilet paper which was much appreciated. There were a couple of daddy long legs in the house, but we didn't mind this at all due to the high ceilings. There were quite a few bugs flying around outside at night so we also figured the spiders would eat any that came inside haha. The interior decoration is really beautiful as well. We played a few games of pool, watched Netflix and YouTube on the TV and walked down the very steep hill to the town a few times, which was a great work out! The only thing to be mindful of are the cockatoos - they were very interested in saying hello when the bbq lid came off! DO NOT FEED THEM! They will literally destroy everything if they decide to hang out nearby! We suspected one of the guests staying at the neighbours had fed them, as they kept going back to a nearby house and trying to destroy the antenna and roof! They are quite aggressive around the shops area as well, as we saw a few of them go for pastries out of the hands of kids and from tables! All in all, our stay was incredibly relaxing and fun. We will absolutely try to make it back again in future. Thank you Julie for your hospitality and answering all of our questions when we needed it!

Wonderful house, balcony & views are amazing. Quiet location and not to far to walk to town
Highly recommend this property. Everything from booking, check in and even late check out was great. The balcony and views are the best. Bonus to have a pool table which was used heaps. Has everything you need. Definitely our go to house for coming to Lorne

Spacious with a beautiful view
Stayed at this property over new years. There were 8 adults and 5 kids. Julie was kind enough to set up a baby gate so the small children didn't harm themselves on the stairs. The deck area was magical. Amongst the trees with an ocean view. There was plenty of space for all of us with a big kitchen and two bathrooms. Julie was great to communicate with. We did a Woolworths order for arrival and she was kind enough to bring it in and unpack cold food for us. We ran out of room in the bin and Julie quickly emptied them at the tip. She was a great host. The only downfall is the property is up a steep hill which was hard for the young children walking back from the beach. But it was worth it for the views we got from the deck. Would book again, great house.

Beautiful breezy Christmas
Wonderful large well presented home, great for a number of families. You don’t have to leave the house for breath taking views of Lorne, the beach and the tree tops. Really conveniently located to walk to shops and the beach, there’s a short hill but that’s why you get the gorgeous views. Julie was lovely and we hope to visit again soon.

Fantastic house
This house was spotless, beautifully presented. Great area downstairs for kids with billiards table and tv. Three adult bedrooms (3x2) and a bunks / queen room that could sleep 7 (queen, bunk, bunk with double at bottom). Upstairs living and kitchen with huge decks was fabulous. Plenty of crockery, cooking utensils, cutlery, pots and pans. There is a handrail for internal stairs but no hand rail for steps leading from drive to house - I had an injury and was in a moon boot so just had to be really careful! We would definitely stay again if in Lorne.

My family of 12 really enjoyed our 2 night getaway at the house. The view was great from the large outside decking. The houses split levels create two seperate living spaces which was perfect for kids or two seperate families Host Julie was very helpful.

My friends and I had such a wonderful weekend at Julie's property. It exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We especially loved the stunning views from the balcony and the pool table! Perfect family accomodation
We stayed with three families including 7 kids. The house was fantastic especially the stunning balcony, beautiful view and the downstairs rumpus room. Walk to town or supermarket in 10 minutes, easy to walk back from the beach too. The last 100 m of the walk home is quite steep but became a family challenge. Julie was a pleasure to deal with at all times. We would definitely stay again.

Fabulous family retreat amongst the trees with a beautiful ocean view
The house was incredible, super comfortable and homely in a very convenient location. The balcony and bbq area were awesome, with huge glass almost 180 deg view to the sea. Loved it. Julie was very accommodating and her communication was excellent.

Fantastic winter stay
Just a short invigorating walk from the centre of town, ocean valley views is exactly what it says. The views are wonderful from every room and there are so many spaces - undercover balcony for the morning sun, sunny deck For lunch, amazing indoor spaces, great well equipped kitchen. Julie was a wonderful host who was always available to answer questions and give advice. One of the best holidays ever - thanks Julie, we will definitely be back.

The perfect family house and the perfect host.
The house was absolutely perfect for two families to share, kids zone downstairs and adults upstairs. The view of the ocean was spectacular, so lovely to wake up to. The house was fully equipped with everything you need to escape to a home away from home. Julie was the perfect host, responding to emails and text in a very timely manner and was over accommodating to all our requests, which was so much appreciated. We can’t wait to visit again.

Spacious house.
Our family of 8 adults and 2 children spent relaxing 4 nights at Ocean Valley View. The house was clean, spacious and the views fabulous. Kitchen had everything that was needed to cook a birthday dinner and the BBQ was very handy on the weekend, so we could stay in enjoy everything the house has to offer. It was a weekend to remember.

Great facilities comfortable beds
very helpful, informative and welcoming property owner. fantastic views and lounges to enjoy it! excellent beds and clean modern bathrooms . Only possible thing to complain of is perhaps car parking which is a little awkward but certainly not detrimental to a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Loved the koalas that visited in the trees right by the deck!

Fun with the whole family
I took my 3 children , their spouses and 6 grandchildren to Lorne for a 5night, 6 day holiday. We loved the property. Perfect for a large group of 12. The property is close to town and the the kids were happy to scoot down the hill to the centre of town and back up again. On our balcony overlooking the sea we managed to see a koala, 3 kangaroos, and an array of beautiful colourful birds. We all enjoyed our time in Lorne and our wonderful accommodation

A little getaway- Lorne
Great property, although there is no carpark (only street parking) and there are a lot of steps to get to the house (no ideal for my dad). There is a pool table which entertain us sometimes. The kitchen is well equip with utensils for us to prepare meals. It was great that there were linens and towels altho it would have been nice if body wash/shampoo /some kitchen condiments are available. But foodworks is a short drive for us to stock up on food etc. The beach and town is a short drive away too. The kids really enjoyed their stay.

We do provide parking for our guests in the 2 cut out car parking spaces at the bottom of the steps with additional car parking space opposite the property directly in front of Ocean Valley View. The steps through the garden up to the front door would be a challenge for anyone who is either elderly of has a physical ailment. As communicated to you prior to your arrival we don’t provide body wash and shampoo as these items are quite personal; similarly food items and condiments although we are happy to provide these items to our guests free of charge if so required. I am glad the kids enjoyed their stay and enjoyed the show put on by the koalas.

Pub to Pier weekend at Lorne
Great house with a terrific ocean view. Perfect for our situation with the young family bedrooms & bathroom downstairs and adults upstairs. Fabulous large kitchen to prepare and cook meals. We loved the wood fire & had it on each night. Love the outside decking around the house with views over the sea. Everything spotlessly clean. Julie terrific with her communication and really looked after us. The stairs up to the house are very steep but it was a good fitness exercise for us oldies. The parking is pretty tight on the narrow road below the house but we did have 3 car parks on the road fairly close.

Best holiday in Lorne at Oceanvalley View.
We had a great time. We stayed with 9 adults and we had plenty of room. Very clean and very well equipped. The poolroom downstairs was good fun and outside area was wonderful, watching our koala friends next to us in the trees. Walking distance to the beach and shopping. Our host was fantastic and ensured for a hassle free stay.
