As soon as you enter the property it forces you to unwind. The views are amazing. This is our second time staying at this property and we will be back again... Communication from Ann Maree is always amazing..

Beautiful house with stunning views of the coast situated up high on a hill. It’s a nice and spacious house which is very comfortable. The only thing I suggest is some new glass wear as there are an abundance of beer glasses but minimal wine and champagne glasses

Great spot with fantastic views. Bedroom setup is not as listed. Fold out beds in rooms with no blinds. Couple of the tvs did work. Down light out in ensuite off main bedroom. Aside from these points property was comfortable and relaxing.

Loved the location, the view, the architecture, very comfortable for a family holiday. It had everything we needed and it was clean inside.However, our major concern was the rubbish, the bins were full and one had maggots in it which was very smelly. And all bins had every type of rubbish in them despite being designated glass recycling etc. Also the tap over the basin in the upstairs bathroom needed fixing. Despite these problems, we had a great holiday

Great house, spectacular views. Perfectly close to town so not a problem to walk in and back. There is a big huge hill which could be a challenge for some. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the house. Different levels gave our grown up kids their own space which was nice. Would definitely return.

Excellent in every respect, except wrong key provided and initially unable to gain access. Views were fantastic and throughout our stay we had a feeling that the owners had done everything possible to make our stay extremely comfortable and most enjoyable.

Great property with a beautiful outlook. As it is elevated the driveway is very tricky and difficult to manoeuvre- this is the only thing I found really difficult. Although the house can sleep 8 there are no blinds for the two sofa beds so it is really bright in those spaces. The other bedrooms are very good and the main is spacious and comfortable. The host was very helpful.

Lorne Getaway for Grownups
A great stay, location was spot on provided you have a vehicle (which we did). Only suggestion is to service dishwasher (not draining) and light globe & fan in ensuite need replacement or service. Easily addressed and overall, a great place to stay. Great Ocean Rd is even better than I remembered.

We (our group of 4) loved staying in Jeff’s beautiful home! Perfect setting amongst the trees to take in that wonderful view - comfortable bed and very clean! Wish we could have stayed longer!

What an exceptional property and outstanding views. The hosts were great with their communication and ensured our stay was enjoyable. The views towards the bay were stunning and it was great to have a fire, Netflix & Amazon Prime when the weather wasn’t great! The property also had sensational outdoor areas to make the most of warm nights and great weather.

We had a wonderful family weekend away at this beautiful property. The house has plenty of space to spread out, fabulous views and is well stocked with cooking equipment etc. Ann Maree and Jeff were so helpful and accommodating after we had to change our booking a number of times. We look forward to returning!

Fantastic property. Great views and handy to town/beach. Our kids were particularly taken with the King Parrots and Kookaburras meeting them for breakfast on the deck each morning. Credit to the owners, would stay again and recommend.

Magnificent Property
This is a magnificent property with the most spectacular views from all four levels. We felt lucky to be able to wake up to these views for a whole week. We travelled as a family with my three sons aged 20, 17 and 14. The spaces were perfect for them, they literally had their own quarters including a study nook. Our stay here was very comfortable. As other reviewers have explained it is quite a hike up the hill but worth it for the views. We experienced a few housekeeping issues during our stay. Nevertheless we hope to return to the property in the future.

The Perfect Getaway
A beautiful property with incredible ocean views across to Lorne Pier. Close to town with all conveniences at your fingertips. The walk back home is not for the unfit with a very steep hill & driveway, but definitely worth it for that extra bit of exercise. Lorne offers a plethora of eateries in all cuisines, scenic walks, waterfalls, parks lands, wildlife, beaches. The split level property is architecturally interesting, with multiple decks & views from every angle of the house. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen equipped to entertain for a breakfast, lunch & dinner. I highly recommend this property, great value & would love to stay again. Thank you!!

Just beautiful!
This place was absolutely wonderful. Architecturally it was awesome and it had lots of little areas so the family could spread out. The baby gate was a great idea (as there was 4 or 5 sets of stairs) The kitchen was smelling fresh and well stocked with everything therefore you didn’t have to wash dishes every 5 minutes. I loved the beanbags and blankets placed around the house to snuggle up in. One thing owners could consider is that seen as though check in is at 3pm, check out could be changed to 11am.

This is our second time at this property which probably says it all. Great lounge area, great views. Getting up the hill might be challenging for some but we enjoyed the exercise. It was fair value for money at the price we paid (booked a year ago) but I’ve gone to make another booking for next year and the price seems to have gone up a fair bit so this will probably be our last visit sadly!

Tranquil Lorne Luxury
This is a stunning property that I would highly recommend to any family or friendship group heading to Lorne for a holiday. Its hilltop location above Lorne town centre provides a fantastic view of the ocean, which can be enjoyed from either of the first floor deck or the rooftop BBQ terrace. The local cockatoo community will visit you in both locations, which is quite a spectacle. The house is very well furnished and equipped with a vast array of kitchenware, tableware, drinkware, kitchen appliances and even some basic groceries in the pantry. High speed wifi makes Netflix stream seamlessly, complemented by a DVD collection and board games. One of our favourite aspects was the open fireplace, which we certainly used across a chilly long weekend. The firewood and kindling we needed for this was all well stocked on arrival. Each member of our group found their bed comfortable and slept well each night. Finally, the entire house, including bathrooms, was spotlessly clean. A small consideration is the house's hilltop location does mean both the driveway and the road on which the house is located are quite steep. The driveway can be easily navigated by entering it straight on, rather than via a tight left hand turn. For those who walk into town, the road may pose a challenge on the return journey, although we found it a great way to burn calories after breakfast! The only slight hiccup we experienced was seemingly a result of technical issues with the Homeaway app. This hindered our ability to correspond with the owner, meaning check-in required a phone call to Homeaway Customer Support. However, having been made aware of the problem, the owner has been swift to acknowledge the issue, apologised for any inconvenience caused and has taken steps with Homeaway to rectify the matter. Handled very professionally and it certainly wouldn't deter me from booking the property again in the future.

Perfect family time
Fantastic house to enjoy family time for a quick getaway. House was amazing and enough space so we weren’t living on top of each other. Kids safety bar for the lounge made life so much easier havingittle kids and all those stairs to worry about. View from most rooms is just breathtaking. Clean and most things provided. Local birds making themselves at home Kept the kids entertained. We will definitely be back. And thank god for electric blankets in winter
