"The property was spotless and well equipped. The location was great: just outside the village with spectacular views across the Gironde, and easy road access to many interesting places. Our hosts provided a wealth of information to make our stay truly enjoyable"

"Monique and Michel were fantastic hosts - warm and welcoming when we arrived late in the day. We stayed in the attached cottage and we welcomed the fresh croissants and bread in the morning. Even though there are other properties attached and b&b guests it was still so peaceful, the gardens and outside spaces were amazing and offered not only plenty of spaces to sit but were so beautiful to be in. We loved the swimming pool and sauna - again the spaces were well thought out and were harmonious...

"Lovely gite in a lovely area. We particularly enjoyed going to the port to read in the shade and enjoy a drink in the bar/restaurants. Plenty to do and see in the local area with La Rochelle and Bordeaux within 90 minutes to go further afield. Jo was very welcoming and helpful, being only 20 minutes away if needed"

"Fabulous 3 bed gite with a large pool, air con, fast wifi, outdoor games and UK tv channels. Great for families. Handily placed - 30mins to Royan, 40 mins to Cognac, 50 mins to Bordeaux. Catherine, the hostess, couldn't do more for us. We had a great time (despite the weather) and would heartily recommend this idyllic, quiet get-away."

"Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und ruhig in den Weinbergen gelegen. Der dazugehörige Pool ist schön und sehr sauber. Im Haus selbst ist alles Notwendige vorhanden. Es hat ein sehr gemütliches Ambiente. Zudem gibt es eine geräumige Terrasse. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. WLAN funktioniert tadellos. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Ein toller Ort für einen schönen Familienurlaub. Zum Strand benötigt man etwas über 30 Minuten. Diesen gibt es in Saint-Georges-de-Didonne oder Royan. In der...

"A lovely cottage in the countryside with charming and knowledgeable hosts. Tranquil, immaculate, with well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Deeply rural but close to nearby markets, bakeries and boucheries. A tour of the surrounding 12th-century churches is a must."

"This is a lovely well equiped property situated in a quiet area close enough to local shops to walk (through the beautiful vin yards) and beaches only a relatively short drive through lovely scenery. We had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone. The host was very approachable and easily contactable"

"Le gîte Martin est spacieux et conforme au descriptif. L'équipement et la propreté sont irréprochables, La literie est très bonne et la vue sur les vignes magnifique! Les terrasses et surtout la piscine sont superbes. Nous avons passé 10 jours très agréables à 7 personnes (4 adultes et 3 enfants). Isabelle et Jean-Paul sont des hôtes très agreábles, discrets, mais présent lorsqu'on a besoin d'un conseil. La région est trés belle et il y a foule d'activités possibles."
