"Excellent hotel , very spacious clean room . The swimming pool was a bonus and we did enjoy it . Centrally located in Russell next to the beach and wharf with great parking . The beach was a bit disappointing , it was not sandy . However the Hotel was a peaceful retreat . The hotel room was ideal if you were self catering but there were many varied good restaurants nearby as well . We would definitely return and would highly recommended it . "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Villa Russell. The balcony views to the bay were both beautiful and relaxing. The room was large with a king sized bed and good quality linen and towels. The room had a small kitchen with fridge microwave, kettle etc . Breakfast items were located in the fridge. We enjoyed the simple breakfast of cereal, toast, fruits and yoghurt. Sue, our host was very helpful. "
