Great location, friendly hosts, tasty breakfast!
A very warm welcome from the friendly hosts who gave us some great tips for Looe's best pubs! The hotel is in a great central location overlooking the river and the town and a very short walk from the main town carpark. Our room (no.5) was large and comfortable with a handy outside seating area (in better weather!). Breakfast was very tasty with great service.

It is located just in the city centre of Looe with an amazing view on the harbour. We had an amazing time here. All the staff is generous, helpful and cheerful. Our dog had a whale of a time there thanks to the staff. We definitely coming back in the future.

Great value overnight stay in a convenient location right on the SW Coast Path. The pot of tea and biscuits on arrival were very welcome after a long day walking, and the hearty breakfast just thing to get the next one off to a good start.

Great service from Sue at the bar and Sam the owner/breakfast chef. Short notice booking but good value. Great location for exploring the town and cheap overnight parking with CCTV cover. It felt quite safe for a new car. Tasty breakfast too. Will return if in the area.

Lovely little b and b close to the centre of town. Very steep steps up to the property so not ideal for people with mobility issues. I was on the top floor and the only issue was the wifi was a bit sketchy.

Splendid Bridgeside
We had a lovely one night stay here. Sammy was a lovely host and very accommodating. The room was neat and had lots of natural light. Basic amenities provided but the internet was quite slow if you’re expecting high speed internet. Overall definitely worth more than what we paid for. Shame about the lockdown if not we would’ve stayed longer.

I only stayed one night as was on a business trip passing through Devon and Cornwall... I love Looe anyway and so when I saw an excellent rate for B&B on here, and the superb reviews, I booked to stay. I’m so glad I did. The service is exceptional - know their guests by name and show a genuine interest. It’s the type of hotel where people all go back year after year, and I can see why. Good to have a little bar too as it was a focal point for a few of the guests on holiday. Really lovely atmosphere. Location is excellent. Parking in Looe is always a little hectic - there are a couple of car parks across the road (but during the height of summer almost impossible to get into) and a long stay just over the bridge. Plenty of parking there and not too far away. If you had cases, I’m sure you can pull in and drop them off before parking the car. Steps up to the guesthouse are quite steep so just be mindful of this if anyone has walking difficulties. Overall, it’s a great little place, very friendly and convenient. Clean and comfortable. Not modern, so guess it depends what you are looking for. Fantastic choice at breakfast ... I wish I’d stayed longer to give me chance to sample it all! Everyone staying there raves about it. Thank you for a pleasant stay ... and I’m sure the other guests have continued to have a great holiday!

Getaway to Looe
This is one of those paces that is a real pleasure to stay at where the owner goes out of his way to look after you. Rooms are clean, breakfast seems to be an endless supply of food and drink of excellent quality. The location, opposite the bridge is ideal for walks around Looe and to the beach. Beautiful place to stay & greeted very well by the owner & staff members. Can’t say enough about the place & holds a lot of fond memories for us. We will certainly come back to this place again. Thank you for making our stay so special.

Don't set your expectations very high and you'll have a reasonable night's stay. No parking for guests other than over-crowded public lots (one rather close, the other an 8-10 minute walk over the bridge). The room furnishing were dated but well maintained. Our room (#8) was up several flights and faced into the hill and the back of their property (sad view of strewn old bits and pieces of furniture). Sea gulls nesting right outside the window raised quite a racket. I just don't see how this place could have earned the label 'superb', as claimed on the Hotels.com site. I would suggest it was no more than 'good', being generous.

Staff are brilliant
We stayed at the Bridgehouse to attend a family funeral. The staff were amazing and couldn't have been more helpful. Sammy and his team couldn't do enough for us. Complimenatry drinks when we arrived tea and coffee for other family members who came to meet us. They were brilliant I cant recommend enough. We will definitely be back to enjoy the are in much nicer circumstances

A little cracker
Looe is one of our favourite places no matter what the weather brings. The B&B was great for our needs-a flying visit before moving on to another area. It was clean and comfortable and were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast couldn’t be faulted either. Would definitely stay again
