"Staff was very helpful and friendly but this is far from a 4 star hotel. Rooms and common spaces are very dated. One of the beds in our room was lopsided from wear and in the bathroom the toilet tissue is in a dispenser like in a public toilet. "

(Heating/hot water etc)Poor communication with owner, blurred phone numbers.Main electricitybox exposed.Housekeeping outside on the premises :poor. Inside allright, but Cleaning lady had short notice before we arrived and so did only the essentails.On the brights side:In the end everything was working, eventually we even found some food for the cat (!)Very quiet.Good that we met the neighbour while searching for the place. Friendly man who we could call on just in case. Reassuring"

"Wunderschönes Haus mit toller Ausstattung! Es ist alles da, was man braucht und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Location ist sehr ruhig gelegen und ein guter Startpunkt um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir haben in den Betten sehr gut geschlafen, auch das Klima im Haus war sehr angenehm. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war völlig unkompliziert! Wir haben die Zeit am Lough Ree sehr genossen und können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!"
