Lonford trip
Horrible check in experience. No communication until well after I had arrived regarding directions instructions. No sign visible from street, given wrong gate code by maid after we were lucky enough to have found fellow guests going through gate and tagged knto them and had them call multiple numbers to find someone to tell us how to access our apt. Got hung up on first phone call. No milk placed in appt even though the LATE instruction email said there would be. Access and instructions were a nightmare. Once in the apt it was nice enough. Sent message through hotels.com that they could get us a bottle of wine to make it right. No response ever from Cathedral View. It is a shame because it is a nice apt.

Great apartment in central location
Beautiful apartment. Used it many times when away with work. A real home from home.
Very nice, well-fitted apartment. Nice linens and bedding. Beautiful location. The management and owners are lovely people and we will stay there again in the future.
I stayed here in July for 3 nights for the musical festival. Geraldine met me at the gate and brought me upstairs to the apartment, lots of steps. On entering she showed me around and the place was spotless. I was waiting for wimbledon final so checked out TV which has loads of channels more than the basics and also the wifi is 5G which is excellent for my laptop for work and on my phone. The double bedroom looks directly at the Cathedral which is gorgeous but no sun in this bedroom or sitting room and the bells toll every 15 - 30mins from 8am til midnight....if your out alot during the day this wont bother you but I wasnt feeling very well so stayed in alot and they are very loud, Id say the apartments facing the courtyard might be a bit quieter and there is no balcony or private outside space in 3A, the other bedroom has one single bed and it got some sun and again spotless and perfect but there is a lovely courtyard where some people were having a bbq one night. Everything you need is there, I couldnt find a hairdryer but there are about 10 hairdrerssers in the town so just went to one of them. The train station is a 5min walk and the main shopping centre is behind the cathedral and shop street is also 5mins away, lods of bars and restaurants too. ON arrival there was milk and tea and coffee and sugar and some chocolate bars too which is a lovely touch. I Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.
It was very secure and the location was very convenient to waking to shops, etc. it was really great and very clean. Geraldine me me as soon as I got there and was helpful and very nice!!!!

Absolutely fantastic apartment clean and well decorated with everything you could wish for i would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Longford wished we’d found it sooner thanks to you Geraldine we thoroughly enjoyed our stay thanks a million milton and Lynne u/k
The location is excellent. Near shopping, restaurants and the center of town. Across the street from St. Mel's Roman Catholic Cathedral. The suite consisted of a bedroom with a Queen bed and TV, bathroom and a sitting room. Some suites include a kitchen. The main kitchen was available for our use. The owner was always willing to accommodate my wife's needs. An excellent place to stay.
Great central location. Apartment had everything a traveller could need which for us included a washing machine. Great outside space included a grassed area and an undercover seating spot for the lovely warm evening we enjoyed. Wished we could’ve stayed longer.
We were actually upgraded from a room to a full apartment when we arrived. The staff was very kind and didn’t mind that we kept adding days. They even helped us to stay one last day so we could recoup even on one of their busiest weekends. There is a Tesco within walking, as well as bus/train station. There aren’t any lifts, however our bags were carried to our room for us to help my mum.
