"When we first arrived, we immediately noticed the beautiful view, open & spacious living areas, as well as the cleanliness of the home - the floors were literally shining! This home was the perfect fit for our family (2 grandparents, 3 "kids", & 3 grandchildren - ages 9, 7, & 4). There were plenty of rooms/beds (& bathrooms!), lots of kitchen/food prep items, & a great selection of games - both indoor & outdoor! If you have small children, they were well prepared with kid-friendly items (we noticed a baby bath/other items in the closets, kid-friendly toilet seats, & a variety of toys/life jackets/water floaties). While there wasn't air conditioning, they had several fans, as well as an attic fan to use before bedtime. So inquire & pack less if you have certain needs/preferences! We wished we had used the path to the water earlier vs the stairs - the slope seemed a little easier, especially when carrying all of our beach items. The stairs weren't too awful (& probably good exercise lol!) - we just tried to plan ahead so that we didn’t have to keep running back & forth. We did have a little adventure when some rain/wind came through quickly, but made it just fine back to the house (though a little wet & winded! ) Jim & Lori were very responsive & informative, even before booking. We all agreed that our rental pick this year was MUCH better than last year's (which was right on Lake Huron, but small & in desperate need of a deep cleaning). We would happily stay again!"

"Quiet location, easy access to lots of Michigan outdoor activities. Wide open space with lots of beds (7-8 beds total, but limited privacy). We were primarily just looking for a place to sleep and it fit the bill perfectly. Billiards table to enjoy. Lots of seating and lots of space if you had a larger group. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Easy to tidy up since it's all linoleum flooring."
