"Absolutely stunning place to stay. A great deal of care and effort went into putting this place together and it absolutely shows. Chris and Ryan clearly proud themselves on being excellent hosts, and they should.My only complaint would be the mattress. But that has more to do with personal preference than the stay. Honestly, even with that, we can't wait to stay again and as I write this in our current stay, I wish we were already back."

"This house was perfect for our vacation! Our kids are 15, 11, and 7, and we had my mother-in-law with us as well. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the kitchen/dining area was big enough for all of us to eat together. The kitchen was stocked with anything we needed, and the house was spotless, even though we know a group left the same day we arrived.The main feature of the house is the view. We had an amazing unobstructed view of the ocean, which can be seen clearly through the picture window in the front room. The house also has a wooden deck with furniture, so sitting out there at night and listening to the ocean became a nightly ritual. The house is private, and Searsport is an excellent place to stay. There is a supermarket just up the road, and many food options within a 15-minute drive of the house. We took a day trip to Kennebunkport, which is about 2.5 hours from Searsport, and we also visited Augusta, which is about an hour away. The scenery throughout the state is amazing, so the trips don't seem nearly as long as they are.Our host was fantastic and we had no issues during our week at all. If you want to just shut the world off for a bit and watch the waves of the Atlantic Ocean, this is an excellent place to do that! "Beautifully-appointed, very clean, comfortable bright, updated historic home in easy-access central location. Large kitchen had all that we needed, set up in a user-friendly way. Bathrooms great with lovely old bathtub, great water pressure, super cushy towels! Wifi worked great. Amanda and Tiff the housekeeper were very helpful and easy and fun to interact with, and we looked forward to seeing the dogs Mike and Helen each day. Our only slight issue was with high season traffic noise at night from Route 1, which is understandable given location, it just caught us off guard. Once we adjusted to it, it was fine. We kayaked, hiked, and ate out daily in all locations within an hour of the house. A few miles away at Stockton Springs Marina is an EXCELLENT restaurant called The Cove which is like eating at the home of a friend who happens to be a pro chef. Highly recommended. "

"We have family in Searsport and this property is literally the next street over. It was the perfect place for two couples and two 4-year-olds to stay for the holiday weekend. Comfy beds, plenty of sitting room, and an adorable outdoor patio were so nice. It's walking distance from Mosman Park and the beach, and also a grocery store and bars/restaurants. Perfect little quiet neighborhood that was just right for our little group. We're planning to book again for next year!"
