Bedford Hotel
Excellent hotel and location near the British Museum. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Select rooms facing garden for quieter stay. No AC but not needed most times of year.

The Z Hotel Holborn
No window? No problem. Tiny but adequate room. First hotel I've been in for a while where everything worked (except BBC 1 on the TV) and the staff were very efficient and helpful. We breakfasted at the Wetherspoons across the road - excellent.
