"The staff very nice and friendly. The food served at the restaurant is okay. The bathrooms need some upgrades and cleaning. I requested a shuttle from the airport in advance but nobody came to pick me up. Internet was not working in my room so I got upgraded to another room where the Internet was working but unstable (I had hard time working remotely from my room). We had power outage multiple times. The hotel does have a generator but whenever the building switched to using the generator, my room remained without power and I had to call the staff each time to fix the issue."

"Check in was a lil chaotic because we got there and it seems like they weren’t expecting us because we weren’t in their system. When they finally found us they didn’t get the updated reservation. I just wish they communicated with us what was happening instead of having us seat and wonder what was going on after a long travel with a 1yr old. When we were checking out they printed us the bill and it had the hotel charge again even though everything was already paid for. Just lots of technical problems. We did book this through hotels.com so that might have been the problem. Very cute Afro decorated hotel with local art as decor. There are mosquitos were any & everywhere in the hotel. The room AC is not cold enough even though it was on 16 so we couldn’t keep the mosquitoes out because it wasn’t cold enough. The restaurant is overpriced for what you get. Overall I just feel like they could do better. Though their WiFi has to be one of the better WiFi I’ve ever used in Africa. The airport shuttle is also a plus."
