"Great view from the top floor."

"Our end of April stay was definitely off season and the property was calm and slow. The staff was excellent, very friendly and efficient. The afternoon complimentary glass of wine was very nice, we even enjoyed ours in the hot tub one afternoon. We booked through Expedia and felt the value was excellent at just over five hundred dollars for three nights including taxes and fees. We were able to walk to the pizza restaurant adjoining the property one night, drive just a couple of miles to a fun Mexican restaurant in Palisade the second night and eat in the tavern at the property the last night. All were excellent. Less than perfect was the fact that housekeeping failed to clean our room one day and the very mediocre breakfast. Very similar to a chain hotel breakfast with reconstituted eggs etc. We figured this to be due to it being off season so we just went out for breakfast. All in all though definitely overall a five star rating. Thank you Wine Country Inn."

"When we fist got into our room, we discovered we had no toilet paper. The next morning when I went to take a shower, I discovered we had no towels. Since there was no one working in the lobby that morning we could not get any towels so I had to dry off using a hand towel. Do yourself a favor- don’t stay there. "

"The rooms were spacious and well kept. The bathrooms were clean and roomy. The “queen size” beds were definitely NOT Queen size! The beds were tiny and hard, and our toilet flushed like a monster being poked with a stick! Other than that we had a great stay!"

"There were large ants in the bathroom, and the motel itself felt very old. The water in the tub kept running nonstop, which made it hard to rest. We only stayed for a few hours to catch up on sleep after a long drive and left as soon as we could. I kept waking up throughout the night and didn’t feel comfortable during the stay"
