"The rooftop pool is the place to be. Had an amazing time from day one. Great location. My room was very quiet. Hotel is very secure and social.
Note: If you book a Double Plus room for the little extra space, you think you will get a small couch area. Apparently those rooms do not have a balcony, no big deal. But they also have balcony rooms without the couch area which look like regular Double rooms. They really should create a new category for Double Balcony rooms so people can book what they want. Check in was very difficult because they were trying to convince me that my Plus room wasn't supposed to have a couch or the extra little space. They eventually switched reservations and gave me a Plus room with a couch instead of a balcony. Very happy after that. "
"The hotel was understaffed which made service slow. When we went to the pool, there was no one there to give us towels in three separate occasions and we had to track someone down to get us some. The room was ok, but the beds were only doubles instead of queen sized which made sleeping less comfortable. However, one of the doorman named Giovanni went out of his way to accommodate us. He changed some big bills into smaller bills for us so we had money for tips, he found us an excellent driver to take us to Guatape and when we checked out, he signed us out of netflix (we couldn't figure it out because it was all in spanish) and took a video to show it was done. This man was exceptional and made out stay much more comfortable. "
