The weather was perfect so we spent the majority of our time outside in the lovely gardens and grounds. It’s location is such that you can easily reach the coast. La Muraillere is full of character and was perfect for our holiday, however the sheer size of the project means there are some areas which are still to be worked on. The property is magical and was a relaxing retreat from the chaos and excitement of a Rugby World Cup weekend in Nantes. We used Uber as other public transport is not very convenient but it worked fine."

Lovely enclosed pool and recreation areas in huge wooded grounds and massive lake for boating, fishing and bird watching. Very welcoming owners on arrival to show us around. "what a beautiful and amazing place to stay! the Chateau de la Pervenchere is situated in a beautiful locale, perfect for a peaceful stay in the french countryside. The gite is a nice little apartment inside the Chateau with plenty of space, a nice little kitchenette where you can prepare a simple breakfast, very comfortable beds, and very good water pressure in the shower.
