So cute and cozy. Communication was easy. The place was well heated. Great place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. I had many cups of tea and enjoyed the view.

Quiet Getaway

Husband & I booked this cabin, to get away from all the hustle and bustle after the holidays.Cute little cabin, couch and chair in living area could be updated. Fireplace was very nice touch and romantic We had a great weeekend

Winter Getaway

We really enjoyed our time at the Rose Cabin. It was a great couple of days. The outdoor space and proximity to Hocking Hill Park were amazing! The only thing was that the cabin smelled of fish inside when we arrived so we had to air it out a little to get rid of the smell.

Quiet in the Woods

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin as a getaway. We went all around the area to various towns for dinners and drinks and the location was perfect. Exactly what we needed for the weekend - privacy and quiet.

Quaint, serviceable. Hot tub awesome. Sliding glass door didnt work properly, recliner is off set, bedroom ceiling fan needs cleaning.

Adorable spot!

This is a great little spot for a couple or a small family. Very clean and well equipped. Only drawback is the driveway. Very steep and hard to navigate, particularly in the dark. Otherwise, would definitely recommend this place!

Great weekend stay

My partner and I booked this cabin for a weekend away and enjoyed our stay! As other reviews have mentioned, some of the jets in the hot tub don’t work but it still heated up and everything. We also had trouble connecting to the WiFi in the cabin and our cell service was spotty up there. The cabin itself was very clean and well kept, the bed was pretty comfy as well, and the location was great. Overall, it was a pleasant stay!

Couples Retreat

Booked this cabin 2 months in advance. Everything went good till the lock box would not open. Had to spend the first of our two night stay in a hotel. We did lose valuable time and did not get to explore the caves. The managment team did make everyhting right though, so that was a big plus. All in all it was a beautiful property and we where able to enjoy ourselfs.

Beautiful little place for the two of us. The company did call and tell us we didnt have hot water before arrived. They did give us wine and firewood for the trouble. The 2nd night it was fixed, so that was great. Definitely have a 4×4 to get up the driveway. Hot tub didnt have 2 jets working, but we didnt need all of it. Overall it was relaxing and i would probably recommend just for couples as its small

Enjoyed every minute

We had the best time at Prairie Rose Cabin. The accommodations were exactly what we expected. The only down side to our visit was lack of open-able windows. The summer AC units were still in the windows so we couldn’t let the crisp fall air in the cabin. The bedroom had a slider with screen, but there was a large tear in the screen so we couldn’t open that either. Other that those minor items of personal preference, everything was great!

Weekend get away

We really enjoyed our trip over all! It was a cute cozy cabin, very secluded and private but also local to stores and restaurants. Like many others, the only complaint is the hot tub not working fully. The jets only worked on one side of the tub, I even email prior due to other concerns to see if they were functioning properly and we were told yes… but they weren’t. It didn’t ruin our trip, but would have been nice. We also would have enjoyed cards, checkers or some board games as it stated there was a “game room” but there wasn’t even a simple stack of cards. All in all, it’s a pleasant little cabin that serves the purpose of a short get away with a lot to do in the area.

Nice cabin

The cabin is nice. Location is great! Unfortunately I was sick and wasn’t able to do any of the planned hiking. Would have been nice if the hot tub work properly. I understand why it probably hasn’t been replaced because you would have to tear the deck apart to replace it. I would replace hot tub and increase rate. You have a really nice cabin and having a working hot tub is a great bonus for visitors on vacation. One of the amenities I was looking for. Kinda disappointing. Could also use a couple blankets and fix the lighting inside. There was no blankets. On a positive note, the cabin was really clean, and in a great location!

Very disappointing

First the good… cabin was clean, was a cute cabin and very secluded. Now the bad… first off the drive to get there is absolutely awful big holes drop offs and washouts, called as soon as we got there because heat source wouldn’t work… and as told they would get right back to us and no one ever did, during the day was very warm.. 3 window air conditioner and not a damn one coils the place had set at 68 and when we returned it was 77 in the cabin. You charge a 30 dollar cleaning fee… for what we had to gather all dirty linens and take the trash to the dumpster ourselves… while we live hocking hills we can say we definitely will never rent this cabin nor any cabin that this company owns very disappointing when you spend this much money and the company puts no money into the property or maintaining it

WiFi is spotty, but works for a getaway where you mostly want to unplug. Plenty of peace and quiet and close to shopping, groceries, and restaurants. A short/quick drive to all Hocking Hills sights.
