"Aspen Retreat" is a very fitting description for this beautiful mid size lodge where you will be greeted by towering Aspen Trees. This lodge is perfect for families or several couples looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Aspen Retreat is located on 60 beautiful acres of wooded land. The location is ideal, offering privacy and seclusion on a quiet country (paved) road and yet only 3.4 mile off US Route 33 (only 1 mile off S.R. 595). Approximately a 30 min drive to the many Caves, Trails and Rock Formations that has made Hocking Hills Famous! To further add to the appeal of this unique location, It is located within 10 miles from 7 Major Wayne National Forest Trail Heads and the Brass Ring Golf Course and Restaurant is located only 7.3 miles from your cabin door. So whether you wish to relax in front of the fireplace, sit around a campfire, take a hike through the 60 acre woods of the cabin property, play a round of golf or visit the many nearby state parks and attractions, Aspen Retreat is the perfect spot for it all.

A great place to stay. Wonderful property. Location is right in the middle of all the great Hocking Hills Hikes and Adventures. Nice, clean, house to stay in, and the kids love the basement. Can't wait to stay again next year.

Second year at this cabin great for couples each have their own bathroom,we always have a great time very private, pool table is our favorite, one down side always ten to drink alittle to much, lol!! Will be back next year!

We stayed here the week of Christmas in this cozy, well-appointed cabin. Beds were comfy, LR leather furniture appeared brand new, game room was a blast, and the hot tub was relaxing. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Bath towels were thick and thirsty, and the extra towels on the deck for the hot tub were so handy. Would stay again! Thanks Mike for making our stay so memorable!

Very spacious and secluded cabin for a weekend in the woods! The listing description is exactly what the cabin presented as. It’s about a 25 minute drive from all the major hikes in Hocking Hills.

Girls Trip

Communication to get to the location and the code to get in were easy to understand and timely. The property itself was very nice, just enough secluded to be considered private. The cleanliness was great, beds very comfortable, and with it being as cold as it was the cabin was very well insulated. The hot tub and jetted tub worked just fine. This was a great place to spend a week just relaxing with friends.

Aspen Retreat is tucked away in a private woods. It’s peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is clean with all of the photos showing exactly what the cabin looks like inside and out. The owner is very responsive to any questions or needs. We highly recommend staying here.
