"We loved our stay in this beautifully decorated basement level apartment! The space was very clean and we loved the creative decor and thoughtful touches. Our host was very communicative, warm, and kind. He was also very quick to respond to messages and made sure our stay was comfortable. There were some chickens on the property and my 3yo loved going out to see them and she also had a great time using the trampoline. "My husband and I stayed one night at the White Oak cabin on this lovely, historic property. The hospitality was wonderful, and the charcuterie tray in the room was perfect…. We loved the history and the preservation of it… As well as the modern or artistic accents. It felt a bit cramped for us, and perhaps the steep steps and super soft mattress, kept us from giving it a five star rating. One of the highlights was the walk in the woods early this morning."

"I have previously stayed at this location when it was operated as a bed and breakfast, this time it is only a lodging spot with complimentary drinks which was conveyed in the listing. The home is lovely and easily located in Orange, with quick access to many historical areas. While the Fenton is listed as having a bathroom, which it does, it is a tiny water closet at best. There is no standard size mirror or sink, the shower is also quite small. Overall, our stay was fine, but I did not like the...

"Wonderful dock for boats, and we had great waterskiing at the north end of the lake. Incredibly responsive hosts. Home was beautiful and had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our whole large group. Would stay there again!!!"
