I have stayed here several times, but always in a renovated room, so first time in an unrenovated one, it is dated but serviceable and good value. Great friendly staff and service is good. Food is good value.

We got married here 20 years ago and decided to go back for the night. Nothing much has changed. Very quiet. We were the only guests. Room very basic.and could do with updating. Breakfast was loverly. But again we were the only 2 people there. For what we paid was ok. But we wont be returning
