"If you are going to Ullapool, stay at Harbour House. Period. It's an easy walk to town, the views are absolutely gorgeous and the staff were wonderful. We splurged and stayed in a loch view cabin and the minute we walked in thought, "We could stay here for a few more days." It's a bed and breakfast, so if you want it there are both full breakfast and continental style. Our friends stayed in the main building and couldn't rave more. "

A small shop for essentials and a fish and chip takeaway, both of which are very reasonably priced, to say they have monopoly of the immediate area.
