"We enjoyed a beautiful room overlooking the pool with the ocean as a background. It's a very impressive lobby and that impression stays with you and is enhanced everywhere you go. From the incredible Pacific ocean sunsets to the " by reservation" only restaurants to the buffets everything is above standard. We highly recommend and will be back. The one thing we'll do differently is to request a room not overlooking the pool, we're senior citizens and did not appreciate the music and loud activities. Some may love it and the patio doors to the balcony were good quality providing good sound proofing. But if you want to enjoy the balcony it's loud, fortunately by the time it was time to watch the sunset the pool activities had ceased. Beach lounges are plentiful and lots of staff available to fulfill your needs."

"Overall a pretty bad experience. Our check-in was decent, but when we didn't want to go to the walk through where they sell there travel club package they called and text me multiple time around 8 am, waking us up multiple times, begging us to go. The pools were so dirty you couldnt see the bottom of the pool the first half of our stay. The a la carte restaurants were pretty gross. It took almost 30 mins for someone to come take drink/food orders, after that the food came pretty quick. Service in the buffet was incredibly slow, we couldnt get our own drinks, and the food was poor quality. The staff where mostly dismissive and rude, aside from a few quality/friendly bartenders, and the table staff in the patio side of the buffet were always very quick and friendly. Many of the wedding party we were here with had mold in there rooms and far worse experiences than us, and overall the communication from the hotel to guests was horrible. We wouldn't choose to come back again."

I asked for and paid for a higher floor room with ocean view. I was in room 916. The ocean view was obstructed by the building right next to us and a big wall. Boyfriend was also disappointed that the breakfast buffet was closed as well as the beach bar. We will give it one more chance in May and see if it’s any better when it turns into an all-inclusive property the staff were excellent very very nice room very very clean Lorena our housekeeper was excellent and very nice pool was clean. The property is beautiful."
