"We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Palladium Vallarta and would absolutely return. It was perfect for a family vacation. The beach and ocean swimming were excellent, and one of the highlights of our trip was seeing so many whales right from the resort. There was also a great variety of pools for the kids, which kept everyone happy. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay, and the food was amazing. We highly recommend upgrading to Family Selection — it was well worth it for our family. We ate most often at The Nest, which is available only to Family Selection guests, and it was a big part of what made our experience so enjoyable. Overall, this resort was a fantastic choice for a family getaway, and we would definitely recommend it to others."

"It is definitely family friendly but don't forget water shoes for the kids as the area around the kids pool was quite slippery. I wish the drinks were a little more consistent and that they cleaned up the glasses around the pool area more. We stayed around the activities pool so I can only speak on that. The Asian restaurant (Silk) was awesome, the Italian (Amalfi) was also very good but La Pergola (Mexican) was terrible. Nice omelet station at the buffet. Snack bar (La Bamba) was very good and there's an ice cream stand as well. It is a time share resort but we were only approached when we arrived and they respected that we were not interested. And I loved that there was laundry available for 120 pesos per load including soap. Didn't have to bring home wet clothes!"

"The first 2 days we stayed in a terrible condo with no view of the outside, it gave us a very claustrophobic feeling. Luckily we were upgraded to a very nice studio."

"Just got home. This place exceeded all my expectations and has become my favorite Mexico resort. Food was incredible, place was super clean, staff was very friendly. 10/10 (Oceanfront room, bathroom had a septic smell on check in, but we ran the shower a few minutes and continued to in the mornings and never had another issue!) "There were a variety of pools and areas for all ages plus a gorgeous beach for walking. Room was small but nicely renovated with lots 8f water pressure fir the shower. Our only concern was having to line up for dinners because they don't have a reservation system. "
