"Great property for a get together with friends. There’s 3 on suite rooms and a double bedroom downstairs’ with a bathroom close by, there is also a twin room which is small but a nice room, ‘BUT’ you do have to go downstairs to use the loo, as the two bedrooms upstairs are on suite. "A happy stay for both us and the dog. Clean and comfortable with all you need. Plenty of hot water and the heating was excellent when needed, the log burner completed the package. Just a little tight on space either side of the bed but not unusual in an older one level cottage. Secure garden for a dog unless it decides to explore the stream at the end of the garden. Ours didn't just enjoyed sitting in the sun with us. Nice to have a view too! "

"What a delightful place to stay in Wales - in a castle! We were VERY pleased with our stay at the Chateau Rhinafa. It has been maintained very well and it shows the pride of the entire staff. The woman at reception was welcoming and very helpful, showing us several alternative rooms that were available at the time. The breakfast was well thought out with a buffet for cereals, breads, fruit, yogurt and juices. From the table we were able to order a variety of cooked items. It was a delicious meal. Our entire stay was a special treat. We highly recommend Chateau Rhinafa (in Welsh pronunciation, the “f” is sounded as a “v.”"

"All excellent except dogs permitted indoors. I agree with assistance dogs but 2 of my travelling companions have had adverse experiences with dogs. One was bitten by a family pet the other chased down the street by a Rottweiler that had escaped through a fence. Given that neither of those attacks were reported there must be more than double the 24,000 annual reported attacks. In addition hygiene can be an issue if dogs go into food serving areas! Since the pandemic there has been a proliferation of dog friendly places!"

"Very nice hotel that I will return to on my next visit to Caernarfon. Lots of on site parking, and very friendly and helpful staff on reception. I arrived at the same time as a coach party, but the reception staff made sure I didn't have to wait. The room was very clean with lots of space and a good sized clean bathroom. It took a while to work out the light switches to turn on the bathroom light without all the other lights, but not a huge problem. Excellent hotel that I would recommend to friends and family."
