"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

"Perfect location to explore the area. We were there for the Llangollen Round - a 35 mile event - and it was the perfect place to begin. We had an amazing outdoor space which we used all the time as the weather was kind to us.
We ate outside too as there wasn't a table for 4 accessible without having to move furniture about in the lounge. The TV we gave up with as too small to see and we were just enjoying having a chat anyway.

"Lovely house. Home from home. Double beds were small and it only has one bathroom/but we managed. A few issues in contacting the property people to help us get in, but otherwise it well. "

"This is the first ever negative review I have left, im so laid back but we would gave checked out early if there had been other accommodation available in the area.
The property is full of damp and mould and was dirty. Its in really poor condition. Stuff is broken all over the property, stains everywhere, the wifi is almost non existant and it smells awful.
It is grim. "

"Keys were located on time as we saw the cleaners leaving. Parking was not too easy, the garage is located in the hotel grounds and due to the hotel being busy, it was extremely tight and the recommended long term parking was full. Kitchen has everything although we had to clean a lot of the dishes as not satisfactory to use. Microwave dirty. No salt/rinse aid in dishwasher. Wi-fi was not strong throughout the property."

The kitchen appliances were fantastic but could have done with a better selection of pans to cook with .
There were a few area that hadn't been dusted in a long time in the second bedroom but the rest of the cottages was very clean. We had a huge supply of towels which we washed throughout the stay as there was a washing machine and drier in the outdoor area. Overall we picked this one because of the outdoor space and we were lucky with the weather. Not much space inside if weather is bad - especially for young children
There were lots of character features and plenty of hot water.
When showering, turn the heat control to blue (not red) as this increased the temperature.
Nice surprise was the bottle of red left in the secret wine cellar - nice touch."
