"Absolutely wonderful hostel. It met all our needs: good shower, nice beds, clean, towels for hire, kitchen where you could cook your own meals. Wonderful support and location."

"A lovely location, rippling stream and small lakes. Everything you need for a well earned respite . Reception was very welcoming too.The lodges were more than adequate. Wifi was a bit hit and miss but it didn't spoil anything. Near to Llangollen too, plenty of lovely places to eat if you dont fancy cooking.. looking forward to returning. "
"Perfect location to explore the area. We were there for the Llangollen Round - a 35 mile event - and it was the perfect place to begin. We had an amazing outdoor space which we used all the time as the weather was kind to us.
We ate outside too as there wasn't a table for 4 accessible without having to move furniture about in the lounge. The TV we gave up with as too small to see and we were just enjoying having a chat anyway.
The kitchen appliances were fantastic but could have done with a better selection of pans to cook with .
There were a few area that hadn't been dusted in a long time in the second bedroom but the rest of the cottages was very clean. We had a huge supply of towels which we washed throughout the stay as there was a washing machine and drier in the outdoor area. Overall we picked this one because of the outdoor space and we were lucky with the weather. Not much space inside if weather is bad - especially for young children
There were lots of character features and plenty of hot water.
When showering, turn the heat control to blue (not red) as this increased the temperature.
Nice surprise was the bottle of red left in the secret wine cellar - nice touch."
