"Lovely cottage in a nice quiet village. Plenty of local shops close by. Very comfortable place, all the amenities to make it home from home. Unfortunately I was working, but it was lovely to come home every evening, nice and warm and welcoming. Great wifi and plenty of DVDs etc to entertain yourself. I could imagine in Summer sitting outside in the garden and relaxing. Well worth a visit. "

A neo-Norman castle built with the profits of a sugar plantation and the Welsh slate trade in the 19th century. The castle has amazing views over the Menai Straits and is in incredible condition. It is essentially the fairytale castle of my dreams.

"Me and my 4 year old daughter stayed for 3 nights. We booked a cosy double room (218) it was at the side of the building and we had a lovely side sea view which we didn't expect 😀. Room was small but very comfortable, room was very clean with lovely fresh white bedding and towels. Bathroom a little dated but for the price we paid it was great. I ended up leaving my daughters dvd charger, and a cases full of dvds in the room (my own fault 🙃) staff where great packaging it up for me ready for royal mail to pick it up. Thanks for everything we would definitely stay again."
