"We had a huge room with a comfy bed, sofa, refreshments and clean bathroom. Dinner on our first night, following a two hundred mile journey, was very welcome if a little pricey. Nevertheless portions were huge and the food was delicious. We sat in the bar after dinner simply to chill. Breakfast is a help yourself buffet. We had a view of the canal complete with views of ducks, sheep and narrow boats. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Would recommend."

The food is really good and many people just call in to eat. At a weekend they have to give you an allotted time for breakfast, in order to get everyone in! Breakfast and evening meal were excellent and staff are very obliging and friendly"
