"Poets24 Apartments enjoys the best possible location in Ely with a large and secure free car park at its rear. The Cathedral is just across the road and everything you need including lunch by the riverside is within easy walking distance. The room was appointed to a high standard and the large walk-in shower was exceptional. The facilities at the Poets Hotel are just a minute up the road and a great cafe is virtually next door. The hotel staff are delightful, the bacon butty standout and basically look no further for a stay in Ely which is a fantastic experience in itself. No doubt the hotel is excellent but for us the Apartments are perfect and we will definitely stay there again on our next visit particularly with the ease and convenience of parking and the tranquil setting."

"I have stayed before, both times in room 4. It's perfect for a solo traveler like myself. The quirk of this room is that it has a private bath, but it's across they hall, and keyed as the room is. I don't mind--I like quirks. Some might. The breakfast is lovely. Buffet style, though the server brings along tea or coffee, whatever you wish. It's also in a lovely location, right along the river. A view of the narrowboats. :D New since my last stay: AC!"

"We enjoyed our stay. Good layout for us all, with separate dining and living rooms. Bonus was a lovely private back courtyard to relax in. Town only a short walk away. Sometimes busy road made access to parking spot a little tricky. Great communication from hosts. Overall, would recommend for space and location."

"Nice room with all modern facilities. Faced out the high street but there is virtually no traffic after 9pm or so, so not a problem. Excellent a/c in the room which was much appreciated because of the hot weather during our stay. Separate entry to the rooms so did not have to go thru bar. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment, only remark is that it only opens from 8am for breakfast which won’t suit anyone looking to get away early Recommended"

"WOW! What a stunning place! Which we highly recommend a stay here. From when you initially arrive at the property and travel down the drive you can see the wonderful gardens and beautiful views. We were checked in by Millie, who showed us to our room, which was amazing Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open, but they did do meat and cheese boards, which we shared one of each, and certainly were not disappointed by the taste and variety. The staff are friendly and attentive, without being over the top, Millie was awesome and a real credit to The Old Hall."
