Gaze over the crystal blue ocean of the Mendocino coastline accented by sparkling "diamonds on the water," right from the porch of our fully remodeled, historic, two-story, Victorian-style home.

With all modern amenities, this historic home was one of the original homes during the booming logging era in Mendocino County. Located in quaint Little River, CA., this 2 bedroom, 2 bath home mixes Victorian nostalgia with all-modern amenities. Maximum capacity is 4 persons. Not suitable for children under 12 years or infants. No events or gatherings that would exceed the 4 person maximum, please, and no pets. For your security and the security of our home, we have 2 exterior security cams at both entry points covering property.

We are surrounded by Van Damme State Park on 3 sides. We have total access to beach trails including a short path that leads to a secluded cove on Van Damme Bay, the Spring Ranch trail so you can take a quick walk to see the white-water of the surf crashing against the rocks, and other amazing hiking trails. You might even spot a pod of whales. If you have ever wished for an enchanted getaway, this is it.

Shop and dine in charming Mendocino, Albion, Fort Bragg, or right here in Little River. Golf, explore and enjoy. You have found a hidden gem.

We look forward to welcoming you and your loved ones to our home. You can accept the rental contract online, however, we require your signature on our quick customer service document which will be sent via email.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please Do Not strip the beds, but Please leave them unmade so we can tell they have been used. Do Not make the bed on day of departure. Please turn off the heat upstairs and downstairs. Thank you.
Please close and lock all windows and ALSO, please close all of the blinds. If you have long thumb nails, please use the plastic tabs on the upstairs bathroom blinds to prevent damage to the blinds.
Please empty bathroom garbages into the kitchen garbage and take out the Kitchen garbage to the large garbage canister by the outside garage. Thank you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This house is not good for little children or more than 4 guests
No pets. I don't even bring my own dog to this home. Allowing pets is not something I consider. Thank you for your understanding.

Amazing House in a Perfect Setting

My wife and I stayed here for a week, and everything exceeded our expectations. The views from the balcony and patio are some of the best we have had in the area. We also enjoyed the privacy the lot provided.Bonnie was a welcoming and accommodating host, and we hope to stay here again!

Victorian near the beach

This house was very lovely and large! Beautiful furniture, architecture, etc. We loved that it was a short and nice walk to the beach. Very comfortable and cozy, and Bonnie was a great host :)

We had a great time! Wine Tasting on the way up, out to dinner, walk along the beach, visited glass beach in Ft Bragg and took the train too. All in all, a really nice weekend. The location was close to everything!

Bonnie is incredible

We did not actually make it to the house. Tried twice but flights cancelled both times. Bonnie, the hostess, worked with us every step of the way and helped ease the pain of a trip that fell apart so badly.

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay. A special treat were nearby trails to headlands and the beach. The village of Mendocino with markets, shops and sunset views was only a 5 minute drive.

Perfect Mendocino getaway

This is a perfect property for a short or long getaway. Great views of the ocean from multiple rooms. Two miles from Mendocino. The owner was fantastic and made the stay even better.

Comfort With A View

This property is a gem! It was so clean and comfortable. When we were not out and about, we were sitting looking out on the beautiful view. It is very near Mendocino where you will find great restaurants and shops. It is also close to so many State Parks and overlooks to explore. I highly recommend it.
