"Wonderful stay. Check in was easy- actually quiet as did not have to speak to anyone. Room was very clean and it was very quiet. The view was really cool. Bed was comfortable and temperature was just right. Would love to stay again when in area. "

"At the crest of a steep hill overlooking the Mohawk Valley, the property is well situated. Valerie welcomed us warmly and showed us where to find the necessities. All bathroom facilities work very well. The vicinity is very quiet. Full breakfast was delicious and plentiful. "

"Having been born and raised in this area, I wasn't familiar with this location when trying to find a place close to family when coming back to visit. The address said Fort Plain, however it's in town of Danube, outside of St. Johnsville, not even remotely close to FP. Mind the location, as that wasn't a big deal to travel back and forth. The problem came from the fact that nothing had been cleaned in quite some time. When I entered the B&B it was pitch black and I wasn't sure I was even in the...

"Pros: Valerie is a kind host, and the property is in one of the most beautiful areas I have ever stayed.
Cons: There is one shared bathroom on the first floor. There is no bathroom in the room, or the one next door which I saw when I found out that the dividing door was not locked. The pillows did not have liners in the pillow cases and were stained so we did not use them. The sheets had other people's hair on them, so we didn't use the cover sheets or blankets. The part of the house we stayed...

"Ed runs a great B&B. The staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast was superb. I enjoyed talking baseball with other guests over coffee in the morning and with Ed at night. I will definitely return. "

"The cottage we stayed in was adorable with our own little porch. John was so welcoming. The food for breakfast looked amazing even though we didn’t have the chance to eat. They offer thoughtful touches like a s’mores set up for you if you want to sit by the fire pit and fresh cookies to take during the day. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast if you are in Cooperstown. "

"We’ve stayed at this hotel before. It’s got a great location in downtown Cooperstown right on the lake. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. We go late in the fall and the front desk is not there full time but when they were, they were helpful, courteous and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend. "
"This motel was great! There was a nice view of the nearby lake from the balcony. In one of the two rooms we booked, the TV didn't work, but since we only stayed there for one day it wasn't a problem, so we didn't bother to tell the front desk. The rooms were nice and clean, and the shower is good.
You can also walk down to the shore and see the lake. You can rent boats and fishing equipment from the motel too."
