"We had a great stay here in Silver city! The staff were all so wonderful, kind, and helpful. We had a great room with a lake view and a refrigerator that was larger than most hotels’ little tiny ones which was helpful for us. The breakfast was meh, which is pretty standard for an AmericanInn though they did have hot eggs from a bag and sausage. It was nice that they had a restaurant attached. We will stay here again."

"Clean room, large room, toilet was finally the right hight for a taller person. Friendly staff, and it looks like they are doing upgrades to the rooms one at a time, the one I saw was looking really rustic with pine walls and log type bed."

"Hot tub was great! Especially with the fall weather. House was very roomy. There was only 2 of us but definitely could fit more. Very clean. Lots of random pots and pans to cook. Overall great place to stay if you’re looking for a centralized place in western UP."

"We spent a week hiking in the Porcupine Mountains with our dog. We were glad to find a place near the park that was pet friendly. It was nice to have a place to stay after a full day of hiking where we could shower, make dinner, and relax before bed."

"The place was nice. We had a nice stay. Couldn’t find towels until the end of the trip but they were still wet on the dryer and we were left with 1/4 roll of toilet paper and paper towels we had brought our own so no problem. The door handle wouldn’t lock but the host was very fast to respond. Overall it was a nice stay"
