"Booking through Expedia said “River view”; however given a room “On the River”. Best to call the lodge to book in order to be clear on the room you want. A little extra cleaning can go a long way in the pool and cabins, but they just opened the week we went so I feel it probably will improve throughout the year. The staff (especially Sharon at the front desk), dinner menu and things to do in the area made it a 5/5. "

"We like the beautiful surroundings, the historic Cottage and River Lodge . We like that there were amenities like a swimming pool and a hot tub, shuffleboard and other outdoor activities. We were pleased that it had Wi-Fi in all the cottages and had moved away from wood-burning fireplaces too electric. We did notice, however, there was a lot of opportunity for cosmetic upgrades in the Cottage that we stayed in. The most significant piece was that the screen door on Cottage number four was in fact, not there other than that we were very comfortable and had a wonderful one night stay"
