This is an amazing flat situated in Campo de Ourique, relatively close to the touristic centre and 5 minutes walking distance to Rato and Estrela garden. Ideal for a couple, or a family to enjoy the wonderful mild Lisbon weather.

The property features 2 bedrooms with a double bed each, 1 bathroom, a living room equipped with a sofa, a dining area and a flat-screen TV with cable and internet channels. Guests can prepare their own meals using the fully equipped kitchen. Alternatively guests can visit the various restaurants within walking distance and taste Portuguese or international specialities. Fully equipped, you will have access to linen, towels, hairdryer, microwave, toaster, fan (summer) or heater (winter).

Good location, reasonably priced

Comfy space in a good location, near good eats and public transit. A few of the appliances didn’t work, but since we spent most of our stay outside of the apartment, it wasn’t a big deal for us. Reasonably priced.

Simple and perfect.

This is a lovely place. Very quiet neighborhood. Old building, renovated, has everything one needs for a short stay. The stairs to the apartment (one flight) are a bit steep, so, older folks, watch out.The place is well described, clean, close to center and the welcome was on-time and friendly.If there is anything to improve, it's better towels. The ones there are thin and flimsy.It was off season when I stayed there, so the price was right and actually, a deal. I would absolutely rent there again!

Apartment with room for improvement

What we liked: - Pretty central location near Rato (metro station) - Relatively quiet (when windows on the street side are closed) - Furnishing / equipment was good and modern What we didn't like: - Apartment was not properly clean when handed over. Superficially yes, but on the dining table still traces of breakfast from the previous tenant - The apartment has an ant problem. They are not only in the kitchen, but also in the bedroom and bathroom. There are even some in the bed. We didn't leave any leftover food / garbage lying around. - Sleeping with the window open in the front bedroom not possible because it is about 2-3 meters above the street. - Entrance stairs very steep with very short steps (almost like a ladder). Rather bad for disabled people. - Apartment almost too small for 4 people. No space to store (large) suitcases. - Communication with the operator (?) bumpy. Sometimes more than 48h response time (via Whatsapp). After the stay, I had to request the refund of the 200€ deposit explicitely. It was refunded immediately, but that's not very professional.

I have spent around 6 weeks in the flat and enjoyed my stay. The best part is location. The neighbourhood is possibly one of the best areas in Lisbon. It is quite and singular. The apartment is also very nice. Though the entry is in a very narrow street, often congested, it is fully equipped and nicely furnished. The not-so good bits. Some electric appliances did not work (dish washer, freezer) and the toilet is a small. Host was very nice and responded swiftly. Nice experience.

Séjour désastreux chez Vita Portucale

Appartement conforme aux photos, cependant de nombreux problèmes dès notre arrivée :- Frais d’arrivée tardive car entrée dans les lieux à 20:07 au lieu de 20:00 (20)- Poubelles non vidées- Canalisations bouchées dans la salle de bain, évier et douche dans laquelle nous avons dû retirer les cheveux des précédents locataires- Colonie de fourmis dès le deuxième jour- Rencontre avec un cafard en pleine nuit- Toilettes bouchées pendant 36h, sans solution proposée- Caution rendue 4j après le départ de l’appartement (200), tout en relançant 2 fois par jourPlus aucune nouvelle du propriétaire depuis notre demande de remboursement pour la gêne occasionnée par les différents problèmes cités ci dessus
