The only thing we didnt like was not having an elevator which was hard on my friend who has a bad knee but otherwise the staff was great, room was a good size and clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was average but acceptable. Love the location super convenient for everything but it can get loud at night since its near a square.

Wish they would give out two or more sets of keys, and the front door was controlled by a customer key or some sort. Only had to use the door after hours when it was closed, and it was quick and easy to get open, but I'm just being very picky at this point.

The location is convenient. The place is very clean. The place has no elevator, so it was hard climbing up the stairs with all or luggage. The location's sugn is not easily visible.

Great location, though it can be a little loud on the square at night. Huge breakfast selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, cold cuts, bread, espresso drinks, and juices for breakfast. Reception staff were very kind allowing us to store our bags until check-in time when our red eye flight arrived in Lisbon mid-morning. As there are several flights of stairs into reception and the room, guests should not bring heavy, cumbersome luggage.

We stayed one night in Pensão Praça da Figueira and it was okay for what we paid. It’s a hotel/hostel in one offering both shared and private rooms. It’s located well, not too far from the central streets of Lisbon. It’s also about a 30 second walk from one of our favourite donair spots there called Alif Kebab House. Their donair boxes are elite!!! Pensão Praça da Figueira also offers a breakfast in the morning which is helpful, if you like to fuel up before starting your day.

We stayed delux ensuite room on 3/F. The air quality in room was not good, we kept running nose and the nose did not feel comfy, the housekeeper kept coughing seriously during cleaning without wearing mask. Apart from this, it was clean, basic choices of breakfast, helpful staff, taxi station and metro downstair, close to everywhere.

We had some bad days here mostly because we could hardly rest at night with a constant noise of water pump (day and night) in the bathroom and the very uncomfortable mattress. The hotel is more like a hostel with private rooms. Breakfast had a fair variety of food and drinks. Location is perfect.

Perfect location, location, location
Took us ages to find - tucked away off the corner of Praca de Faguera, the entrance is round the back. Two flights of stairs brings you to the reception area. Very helpful and pleasant staff, although it was day 3 before we even realised there was a kitchen facility. Bed was very comfy and slept well. We were aware we had a shared bathroom but found it very annoying that going there in the middle of the night was a chore. Would have expected to be sharing with another room with bathroom in the middle of us but it was along the corridor, turn right and it was on the left. But, you live and learn. Probably the smallest bedroom I've ever been in on a stay, had to sit of corner of bed to get round it past the wardrobe. Shower in room was helpful but needs updating - brown water stains on base and black mould round edges isnt a good look. The actual room was spotlessly clean. Apart from this, it was fine. We didnt pay a lot so didnt expect a lot. It's basically a hostel, so its fine. Breakfast was very good with cereals, yoghurts, rolls, cold meat/cheese/boiled eggs.etc. microwave and sandwich toaster if you wanted something warm.

Shared WC, that was the reservation you made, but on the floor there are 3 WCs, one close to the room (room 304) where you were and two more at the end of the corridor on the right.Thanks

Absolutely vile. Literally a slum. We walked into the room and immediately asked to be refunded which they refused. Most disgusting place I’ve ever seen. We ended up booking another hotel and moving out. Please avoid

The location is nowhere better than here. Good for cost-effectiveness! The room was small, but it was nice to have a separate bathroom. Breakfast was good and the staff were so kind. However, I was surprised to see a cockroach because it was an old building and there was a restaurant on the first floor.

The hotel is PERFECTLY located in the old-town area. Access to bus and subway were literally at the door and the staff were very helpful in helping us figure out the routings, etc. The atmosphere both in the small hotel and in the area was incredibly relaxed - felt like I was at home within minutes. There was a great local restaurant just out the front door and small shops for wine, snacks etc within 100 meters. My only concern was the three floor of stairs that we had to carry our luggage up and down (arrival and departure). If mobility is an issue, this is not the place. For me (I'm 75 and my wife is 70), it was no problem. I would go out of my way to stay at this hotel - the perfect relaxing get-away!!!
