Old Town of Lisbon, stunning 180º view of Castelo, 3-room apartment with terrace

The apartment is located right above the Alfama, in front of the Miradouro de Graça and the Castelo Sao Jorge, in an authentic and bustling area on the heights of the Alfama hill. It was renovated in 2013 and is now fully equipped. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen a dining room, and a furnished terrace.
- Bedroom 1: queen size bed (160 cm), two windows (one of which has a balcony and offers a view of the town and the 25 de Abril Bridge)
- Bedroom 2: bunk beds (90 cm) + extra bed
- Bathroom with a bathtub
- Dining room with view of the convent of Graça
- Comfortable sofa bed (Rapido system) for 2
- Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, espresso machine, washing machine, refrigerator, and induction hobs
- Terrace with barbecue/plancha, table for 4 to 6 people
The apartment is not overlooked on the side of the terrace. The building faces the Graça Park. It is located in a very quiet area and offers an exceptional view of the Old Town (with the convent of Graça, the Alfama hills, the Castelo Sao Jorge), the Tage and the 25 de Abril Bridge.

The apartment is ideally located in the heart of the Graça district, 100 m away from the terminus of the famous Tramway 28. The area offers plenty of restaurants and shops (5 bakeries and cake shops, 2 fishmongers’, 3 butcher's shops, 1 supermarket...) as well as many services (launderette, cybercafé, gas station, banks, newspapers...).
The apartment is fully equipped with dishes, towels, and sheets.
It is located on the third floor of an historic building (typical façade covered with azulejos) which was entirely restored in 2013.
You only need 10 minutes to get to the airport. There is a large taxi station 100 m away and the metro is within walking distance or you can take the Tramway 28 to get to it. If you have a car, you can easily park at the foot of the building, which is quite unusual in Lisbon.

Great Location

The location for this place is perfect. It’s right in old town and even though it’s on a hill it’s well worth the climb. Check-in was easy and we had no issues. All of us really enjoyed the stay. Balcony was great and watching all the activities in the park was delightful. Close to grocery store, restaurants, and all things that you would like to see in Lisbon.

Beautiful, luminous apartment in the heart of Graça

The apartment was even better than we expected — it was such a pleasure to be able to start every morning with a coffee on the patio overlooking the park with the view of the Castelo. We had an extremely early flight and Erland and Simone even let us check in early. Can't recommend this place enough!

Spring Break

Cute, practical apartment was great for family of 3. Central location was perfect for exploring the old city. Small construction project made the stairs a little tricky, but no doubt will be completed soon.

Great views!

Good sized property and very well equipped and clean. Lots of stairs to access so not for those with mobility issues. Good communication from the property and Simone was very helpful at checkin and whilst we were there. Balcony was great, lovely to eat breakfast in the sun and people watch in the park ( gymnastics, dancing, dogs playing!

Great views over city

Great views from deck over the city. Enjoyed watching locals enjoy picnicking, playing and exercising their dogs in the park. Great check-in and communication. Unit is well appointed. Like others have noted, this is on one of the seven hills of Lisbon. This didn’t deter us as navigating Lisbon involves navigating hills, stairs and narrow streets. Would definitely stay at this sweet apartment again!

Study abroad

I stayed here for a month last year. I've been traveling to Lisbon every year since 2017. I've stayed in several other apartments, and this apartment is the best I've been in by far. It is conveniently located near everything you need for a long or short trip. The proximity to stores and restaurants is fantastic. The balcony was my favorite part; the view was inspiring. Please note that you will need to walk up three flights of stairs to reach the apartment, so keep this in mind when packing. The space was great for me but would easily allow 4 people comfortably. The kitchen had the essentials, and a TV in the main room. There is a Pingo Doce (grocery store) up the hill and around the corner, so not far at all. The metro is a 10-minute walk (downhill) bus and tram are both uphill and downhill, about 5-10 minutes away on foot. Everything is accessible on foot. You won't regret your stay here.

Local vibe and amazing view!

Felt like the locals staying here. We enjoyed sipping our wine on the balcony while soaking in the fantastic view. Be aware that there is no air conditioner. We stayed in early Oct and it was quite warm but the fans provided was enough to cool us at night time. Not sure how it would be in the summer. Metro is a 10min walk downhill (which means walking up the hill coming back). Because of this, skip taking the metro from the airport since it will be challenging dragging your luggage uphill. Just hop in a taxi. We scheduled an Uber ride back to the airport 3 hours before our international flight to cover time sitting in traffic. Overall, a great stay!

Nice central apartment

This is a nicely finished two bed apartment. There is a balcony overlooking a public garden. The apartment is well equipped for cooking, and there is a barbecue and a nice coffee machine. Everything was clean and worked. Five minutes walk gets you to a main street with shops, restaurants and a stop for the famous 28 tram. Ten minutes gets you to the Statue of King John in the Praca de Figueira. It's very central. The street outside is steep, and both of the walks above involve a substantial climb, either going or coming. Also the apartment is up six flights or stairs. If you don't handle stairs well this may not be the apartment for you. Also I would strongly recommend not bringing a car with you.

Beautiful property and location.

I am very hesitant to tell about my stay. First, it is perfectly located and it is a lovely flat. It overlooks a park where you can see locals enjoying their family and exercising. The view also is of St. Jorge castle. The neighborhood is friendly and safe. The downsize was with the hosts surrogate person. I was never informed (i booked 2 weeks) that I was to provide all essentials ; i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. No one prepared me for running out of toilet paper. I never met the owners host. She ghosted me. I really dont want to go on. It is what it is. Beautiful property. Do not stay there for more than 2 days and you will be extremely happy.

Logement bien situé

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour, le quartier était central et relativement calme. C'est bien indiqué dans la descritpion de l'hébergement, mais il n'y pas de climatisation et ça peut devenir un peu chaud. Par contre, des ventilateurs permettent de rafraîchir les chambres et nous étions comfortable pour dormir. La cuisine est bien équipé, le frigo est relativement petit, mais il y a des petits commerces à proximité qui permettent de faire des achats au quotidien sans problèmes.

Comfort with a view!

This apartment had everything one could possibly need, and the view from the balcony was even better than the photos suggest. There is no A/C but the cool breezes from the balcony plus fans kept the place very pleasant even on days that hit 85 degrees. The hill is very steep with slippery cobblestone, so bring shoes with good grip! But things flatten out quickly, whether you go up or down the hill, and it’s close to lots of restaurants and bars. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Heerlijk appartement, mooi uitzicht.

Prima, heerlijk geslapen, genoten van het uitzicht op het terras. De buurt zelf vond ik minder. De lokatie hoog op een berg, elke dag met de uber terug anders te veel klimmen. Stoepen glad en onregelmatig. Ben gevallen en heb mijn enkel verzwikt.

Alles perfekt!

Die Wohnung war sehr schön. Wir hatten in der Wohnung alles, was man für einen perfekten Urlaub braucht. Der Balkon mit dem super Ausblick war ein Traum und mein Sohn fand es klasse abends zu grillen.Die Umgebung ist sehr gut, schnell am Wasser, schnell in der Innenstadt und viele Möglichkeiten zum Essen in der Nähe.Der Kontakt war perfekt. Nochmals vielen Dank, dass alles so gut geklappt hat.Grüße Tim und Annett
