  • Villa Altus is a charming villa, private and luxurious with 660mts and a big garden (1200mts) located just 5 minutes from Several of Portugal's most beautiful beaches and 30 minutes from Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais. This classic style villa is furnished with quality throughout. We pride ourselves on our meticulous attention to detail and cleanliness to propose to our guests the best! We invite all nature lovers to visit Villa Altus and enjoy a great time!

    Several Only minutes away are facilities for paintball, tennis, squash, football, surfing, kite surfing, windsurfing, paragliding and so many other sports. Near from Villa Altus you can find some of the best-rated golf courses in the world, like Penha Longa in Sintra or Campo Real in Turcifal.

    The localization of Villa Altus is perfect, near restaurants, supermarkets, famous wineries, different shops and a lot of services like hairdressers, spas, shopping centers, cinemas, ATM'S and so on ... Just 10km away we can start to find some of the most beautiful Portuguese beaches like Sit or Calada till Ericeira or Santa Cruz. Both are amazing places where people can do a lot of nautical sports like surfing, jet skiing or diving ... Or just spend some time to enjoy nature, sun and relax near to the sea or in one of the many cafe's and bars.

    Adults & Kids: In our extensive surrounding gardens (1200mts) our guests can enjoy a game of badminton, football, petanque or just enjoy the swimming pool and jacuzzi, BOTH have warm water. In a beautiful and classy room adults can find a pool table and some games like chess, poker table and others. The dedicated games room is equipped with air hockey table, table tennis, foosball, Playstation PS4 with professional playseat, arcade game, pinball machine etc ...

    There are 3 big suites in the villa, with closet and private bathrooms and 1 bedroom double and a bedroom with 4 single beds. We provide as well as individual single comfortable beds for each extra guest (up to 14). Bed linens, personal hygiene towels are provided for every single guest.

    Besides all the activities and games We provide for the kids many other activities can be found in the area and up to 40kms from the like villa surf lessons, horse riding, aqua parks, zoo, oceanarium, science for kids, kidzania (a great place where kids can play professions like adults) ...

We were here with christmas and new yearand it was simply wonderfull. The host helped us very well! She even did some groceries for us since all the shops are closed on 25 december, which was our arrival date. She even made us a home made soup!! Thank you very much!

The villa and surrounding areas are beautiful, with a huge amount to see, both historical and sporty, all within a 30 minute drive or 45 minutes if you venture into Lisbon. Lina, the owner, is incredibly helpful and responsive, doing whatever she could in advance and during our stay to make it enjoyable.

If, like us, you look at the pictures and think what a fantastic place, you will not be disappointed when you see it for real. A beautiful villa with excellent facilities in a quiet peaceful location. Lovely pool area with hot tub and the games room was used every day. Ideal location for visiting Lisbon (40 minutes), Mafra and Sintra. Quiet, peaceful, relaxed but within easy reach shops and supermarkets in Torres Vedras. Lina was the perfect host and was extremely helpful in helping though our flight delays and middle of the night arrival. I would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return soon.

Collecting the keys was straightforward. All the rooms, in fact the entire accommodation was spotless. The villa featured everything we wanted/needed and so much more. The views from the large windows in the main room were stunning such as the sunsets and I particularly enjoyed standing in front of them watching the family swim and playing in the pool.Every member of the group always had something to do/play with (age range 2-63).I contacted our host a few times during the stay, she responded promptly. We did not have access to a car which would have made travelling easier. We relied on Uber on several occasions. They always arrived within 15 minutes, which considering the location, we were pleased with the service. Thank you for helping to make our holiday so special. Hope to be back soon x

Having stayed in some very nice hotels, villas etc over the years I can honestly say that Villa Altus is possibly the nicest accommodation I have ever stayed. Superbly laid out, impeccably clean and great facilities, I could not recommend the Villa highly enough. Maybe a few operating instructions for some of the appliances would be useful but I am just being picky, the owners are always very helpful and easily contactable......I loved it and will be returning as soon as I can. Our family of 11 enjoy our week in this beautiful home. The house itself is beautiful and worked well for our families but we did notice some issues compared to other homes we have stayed in over the years. It was the first time we didn’t find basic cooking items that had been left by others and had to purchase almost everything needed to cook even basic meals. No measuring cups or spoons so lots of guess work took place. As parents, our largest concern was the fire alarm that went off at 4am one morning. We finally figured out how to silence the central system but in doing so felt we had then overridden the system so it would not respond if needed. With our children sleeping in the basement where the failure appeared to be, it concerned us that it was not addressed and that the central system didn’t seem to register anywhere but in the house. Because of this and the mosquito problem in the bunk room the kids were moved into their parents rooms which was not ideal for sure.

Luxurious house with a lot of entertainment.

The house offers plenty of entertainment in a very luxurious setting. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare your own food, and there is also a build-in barbecue outside which we happily used twice during our stay. The swimming pool was nice, although a bit small if you are with a larger company; there is not a lot of space to swim or play when there are 7+ people in the pool ;). The house was clean, just like the towels and everything on the beds. The showers are great; the one downstairs feels like it gives you a massage :D The area is pretty and quite. The only downside there is that most of the villagers did not even greet us back when we walked or drove by. There was a stray cat who came to our house a few times, she was very social and friendly. On our last day we went to a dining place close to the house (less than 10 minute drive), which was cheap with large plates of good food! This place was recommended by the owners of the house - be sure to ask them about it! We spend a lot of our time outside of the house. We went to Lisbon (~50 minute drive) and Mafra (~25 minute drive, nice palace there). We went to other places as well but I can't remember them now, the short story is that there is a lot to do and see within the 1 hour driving range! I fully recommend this house to anyone who wants a luxurious and relaxing stay in a small and quite village in Portugal.

Noch selten habe ich es erlebt, dass ich im Internet Bilder von einer Villa angeschaut habe und bei der Erstbesichtigung positiver überrascht war. Die Villa Altus bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt und ist wunderschön und paktisch eingerichtet. Vom grosszügigen Aussenbereich bis hin zu diversen Spielmöglichkeiten im Innenbereich fehlt es an nichts. Die Aussicht ist ebenfalls wunderbar. Das Wetter war stets gut auch wenn es dem Meer (20 Minten Autofahrt) entlang bewölkt war… Das Ein- und Auschecken sowie die allgemeine Kommunikation hat wunderbar und unkompliziert funktioniert… Wir waren begeistert und würden dieses Haus jederzeit wieder buchen.

Everything you need for a great family reunion!

All the family had a great time at the Villa Altus! So specious and luxurious, we were extremely excited about it! We wanted to spend time together in a comfortable big house where everyone in the group can enjoy and relax, and that was the perfect place for us! The game rooms and pool were a huge success! So much fun for the kids and the adults! We didn’t realize how rural we will be when we booked the house… but thankfully the kitchen was so well equipped that we could easily cooked for ourselves delicious meals and eat by the pool. We also visited the Santa Cruz beach and some great wineries in the area! don’t miss Óbidos if you are driving north.

Fantastic villa and location

We’ve completed our 2 week holiday and highly recommend this villa. It is very quiet and has lovely views of the countryside but just 20 minutes away you are in the centre of the beautiful of the beautiful coastal town of Ericeira. The pictures, although good, do not do justice to the scale of this villa. It’s huge and has a massive games room which the kids loved.

Wonderful place

We loved the quitness and the Nature around. Easy to visit beautiful places, the ocean and cities fx Lisbon within an hour by car. There’s three bedrooms with beds for 4 (2 double beds) and 1 bedroom with a double bed. A very clean nice house and a heated pool - perfect for kids.

Great Place

We had a great stay here with 8 adults and 6 children (between 1 and 8). There is a nice pool and big lawn to play outside, and if the weather happens to be bad, then there is a load of entertainment inside the villa. There is a fence around the pool area which is great if you are there will small children. In the kitchen there is everything you need. There is a small shop just 5 minutes on foot away, a supermarket 5 minutes by car and a big supermarket 20 minutes by car. You can reach the beach in 15 minutes. Theres lots of winerys for wine tasting around and a shopping center 20 minutes by car in torre vedras for some shopping.
