Wonderful VRBO!

Having Catarina meet us at the VRBO was wonderful and letting us drop off our luggage 4 hours early was really appreciated.Great location, very close to the old town yet located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of authentic Portuguese restaurants.Highly recommended and would stay here next time we come to Lisbon.

Cozy and small but all the space you need, since you won’t spend much time at home! Nearby grocery and plenty of food options. A hilly walk to transit but that’s Lisbon! Nice dark bedrooms

Pretty good location, within 25 minute walk to most attractions. We had some issues with intermittent hot water in the shower, and the electrical breaker tripping due to multiple heaters plugged in.

A great visit to Lisbon!

We had a great stay on our first trip to Lisbon. The location was proximal to the city center and accessible to restaurants, transportation, and attractions. Catarina was very communicative and every time we had a question - she responded very promptly. We were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and were sent on our way with a delicious bag of cinnamon milk chocolate covered almonds. We highly recommend this property if you are planning a stay in Lisbon!

Very quiet and convenient appartement

Clean and quiet appartment from where it's possible to visit nearly all Lisbon by foot (except Belem and Sintra). Catarina is very helpul if you need anything, thanks a lot!

Perfect Apartment for a Lisbon City Trip

This clean, well-equipped two-bedroom apartment is ideal for a Lisbon city trip. Communication with Catarina was easy and prompt, and the location is fantastic, with restaurants, the metro, and other conveniences close by. The city center is just a 20-minute walk away, making it both convenient and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Everything you need

Catarina met us when we arrived and helped us to the suite. She was helpful when we had questions. The apartment is in a good location and walking distance to a supermarket and laundry. It is well appointed and nothing missing.

Week in Lisbon

We enjoyed our 8 nights in Lisbon, Caterina met us at the apartment, helped us with our suitcases as the apartment is on the 2nd floor. The apartment was spacious, and as per the posting. Perfect Location & Property For A First Experience Of Lisboa

Exactly what we were hoping for when choosing this property. Full of authentic character in a vibrant, local neighbourhood and within easy walking distance to so many of the beautiful sights that Lisbon has to offer. Catarina was a gracious hostess and we loved learning about her long family history in the home. She also kindly gave us details when checking out about a special spot in the Algarve to visit (we did, so beautiful, thank you Catarina!) as we were heading to Albufeira for a week to finish our incredible first visit to Portugal.

Excellent apartment in the heart of Lisbon

We had a great stay. I read a review mentioning a loud bar nearby and it was simply untrue. The noise was similar to anything else you will experience in an urban environment. If you would like to be immersed in the local culture of Lisbon, this place is for you. We had a great time. The apartment is near public transit and close to restaurants. Walking in Lisbon involves steep hills and stairs and getting to the apartment involves hills and stairs.

Lovely apartment in a great neighborhood!

Catarina was so helpful during the whole booking process and the stay. Check in went well as she greeted us at the apartment. Check out went smoothly as well. The apartment is exactly as it is shown in the pictures and it is very clean. Being with a 2.5yo, the little games and puzzles made available helped a lot with entertaining. The location is in a great and safe location. As many locations in Lisbon, the apartment is at the top of a small hill. The start was great and I would definitely recommend to a friend or return if the chance presents itself. Thanks again! if

Host was very pleasant and responsive

We were in Lisbon for 6 days. The location was walkable to many places. The apartment was very spacious. At night, it was a bit noisy, as a bar is on the street below. Also there is family with a couple of loud kids who run and play outside into the night. The latch on the window in the bathroom was broken, therefore not shutting completely. During our stay, the kitchen faucet became detached from the counter. We alerted our host. Ask the host how to exit the street level front door. All in all, we were pleased with the accommodations.

Caterina the host was amazing. Met us at the property told us best way to get around, things to see, places to go etc etc. loads of guide books and maps at the property to read up on things. Apartment comfy, clean, everything you need for weekend. I stayed with my 2 daughters 18, 17. We walked to many of the places, we wanted to visit. Apart from that best way to get around was Uber we only had a weekend so some of the public transport was going to take too long. You can get a 24 hour ticket for bus, trams, metro in the metro station for €6.50 worthwhile then you can hop off and on all day. At bottom of the road there is little bar that serves food. My girls loved the tapas so at night we often went there as last stop of the day Canil ( recommend the wild boar tortilla) Caterina went above and beyond for us, and we are very grateful to her for her help and hospitality. She answered all my questions before I went promptly which helped me make decisions about different things we would do. The castle is a must it is not just any castle! The statue of christo de Rei is worth the trip out only one bus ride the whole way and leaves very close to the apartments The maritime section is beautiful Many squares and nominees just walking through the city. We didn’t have enough time just a weekend. We will be back. Thanks caterina

Clean and helpful

This property is in a great location. Close proximity to the subway and delicious food. When our flight was cancelled owner offered to let us stay an extra day if needed. The shower was not technically a shower as the spray nozzle had to be held and was too short to reach the installed holder. If one wants to get a real feel for how people live, this quaint place is it. 3 flights of narrow stairs, so pack light. We had a rental car and overnight parking was a 10 minute walk. Not owner’s fault just an fyi. No air, but we were lucky that the weather was not too hot and opening the windows first thing and at night was all that was needed. We didn’t cook, but it looked like there was access to all one needs. Neighbor kids love to play outside so it can be noisy if you do leave the windows open. When shut, the windows and shutters offer a great deal of sound proofing. WiFi worked well, as my husband needed to do some work. The kitchen table is on of those IKEA small space tables that folds down super small and then folds out hard to move, but workable. Bring some slippers you can buy cheap at IKEA as the wood floor is ancient (but beautiful) and tended to catch on socks. It is at the top of a hill, but what isn’t in Portugal? Felt safe walking late at night. Door locks are typical European doors and figuring out how to open them does take some time.

Very clean property. Charming owner. If you have mobility problems it is at the top of a steep hill and on the second floor, but that's Lisbon!Not far from Avenida Liberdade and quite a number of good restaurants and a small supermarket nearby.
