It's is a Romanticist castle that stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains. And undoubtedly one of the most iconic places in Portugal. And a dream come true to visit it! It is a national monument and constitutes one of the major expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. Wonderful house in Sintra

Pros: The house was extremely beautiful and charming, in the style of Sintra, with a magical outside area. Everything was very clean and tidy and the host was super nice with us, always trying to accommodate everyone. Thanks a lot for this accommodation that we will not forget!

Glorious Sintra Home - like staying in a castle to our family.

This extraordinary home in Sintra is simply beyond words... What a wonderful way to be welcomed to the beautiful country of Portugal than with a two night stay in this glorious mansion. It was truly the highlight of our "homes away from home". The location is exraordinary, the hosts were outstanding and gave us so much additional inspiration to make our journey with 10 family members simply a time we shall always remember... It was truly like staying in a castle to our family. We so look forward to returning to Sintra the highlight city of our trip just to stay in this brilliant holiday home.

Beautiful atmospheric house

Pros: Thoughtful furniture, a good kitchen with all the necessary equipment, a garden. Overall I liked everything. Cons: The garden could be a little tidier, there aren't enough hangers in the rooms to hang clothes, the water in the guest toilet at the entrance on the ground floor doesn't drain well, but these are small things.

La maison est très belle et très bien équipée. Le jardin est beau, mais la meteo ne nous a pas permis d'en profiter ! Nous avons été un peu décu par la prise en charge d'un problème electrique. Le quartier etait privé d'electricité et la porte d'entrée dans la propriété etait bloquée. La résolution du problème n'a pas été immédiat. Décu aussi par Abritel qui nous a baladé pour changer le nombre de participannts de 10 à 9.
