Beautiful apartment right in the middle of Lisbon!

This apartment is so beautiful and in such a perfect location! The stairs are a lot as others noted, but we came prepared for that and managed with a lot of bags. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Loved the location. The concierge was super helpful and accommodating. The apartment is abit run down. No extra bedding or supplies. Lots of mosquitoes if you keep the windows open.

Spacious Stay

I honestly couldn’t believe how large this property was. Very well styled and minutes away from everything. The hot water tank is very small. So long showers is not on the menu but it really wasn’t a problem for us. If multiple people were staying, I can see that being a point of frustration. We overall were thrilled with our stay and loved the location.

Best locotaion.

Perfect location, easy to find, easy check in. Key was in the lockbox. Old building which we thought was cool and the apartment was modern. The only thing negative was the smell in the bathroom. My guess it was just because it's old. Everything else was perfect. Price very reasonable.

Negatives: Ad did not indicate that this rental is up 4 flights of stairs and that there is no elevator. There was a large hole in the wall in the main room. Kitchen cabinets were banged up. Extremely loud at night from neighbors and people above. There is absolutely no available parking.Positives: Location is great. Very large space.

Good location, apartment needs work

Good location, everything was nearby so 5/5 on that. Property itself is 2/5. Reasons are: 1) Really bad smell in the property. 2) Washing machine did not work - Door didnt close. 3) Kettle didnt work - Top didnt open 4) Massive crack/hole in the wall in the living area. 5) Broken framed picture hanging in corridoor 6) Bathroom toilet seat broken. 7) Bathroom floor groute was cracked and broken. It kept sticking to our feet which was gross. 8) A bit stingy on toiletries and cleaning products. However, sheets and towels were clean.

Took a taxi from the airport to the office where the keys were. Then a 7 euro trip to the apartment. We had travelled for almost 24 hours and were very dismayed to find that the apartment had mold and smelled terrible.

Cheaply run dive

Drawers on the freezer were frozen shut, bathroom shower was mouldy, no AC in one of the bedrooms. No remote for the TV which took 2 days to deliver and it would only power on the tv and change channels, menu function would not work. Remote had not batteries for the AC and they said “don’t you have batteries in another remote?. Never delivered replacements Would not stay here again even though location was good since there are lots of other properties in the area with the same layout and less money. many

Key didn't work, horrible smell, minimal hot water and construction.

The key to the main door to the building would not open the door at times. We would stand there for 5 to 10 minutes attempting to open the door. This was also the case for other people staying in the building as well. Wrote to the property manager and they indicated that they knew of the issue, but we had to work it out and keep trying to get the key to work as the building was old. That was frustrating and left us wondering at times if we would be able to get in the building to get to bed. There was also a horrible noxious smell in the apartment. Not sure what it was, but it would burn my nose. Had to open the windows and doors to try to alleviate the smell. It also appeared that there was work being done on the apartment as there was white construction dust on the floors and the house also smelled of paint. Hot water was a mere trickle in the shower. The AC in the living room made an odd noise when turned on and light bulbs were burned out in the dining and living room ceiling lights. Also, getting the key was out of the way in another area of the city. Carrying luggage up five flights of stairs was a challenge as well. Would not recommend renting this unit.

I stayed here in Sept 2022. The picture of the apartment looked great. Once we arrived things started to go a little down hill from there First there are no lifts/elevator. So lugging your heavy luggage’s all the way to the very top of the building can get tiresome. We only had one key so that made it difficult to figure out who would take the key if we decided to split during the day. The bathroom isn’t very clean. Mold on the shower curtain. The Bathroom needs a remodel. It just looks old, dirty, &, dusty. Beware.. if you don’t like a cold shower, just know that around the 5 minute mark your shower will be nothing but freezing cold water. The water heater is the smallest thing I’ve ever seen located in the kitchen. The area is near public transportation and close to a lot of restaurants. A perfect walking distance to a lot of tourist sites. It can get very noisy during the day. Since a lot of traffic drives through. It gets quite by the late evening time. There are AC in the living room and the double twin room. The room with a queen bed in the way back has none. All the beds were not comfortable. It a very thin mattress. You might as well be sleeping on the floor. The plus side is that the apartment is big. The balcony are nice to open up and people watch. Location is good. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

L’appartement est à l’étage au dessus du local de l’association Hare Krishna. Nous avons supporté 3 heures de chants/cris le dimanche de notre arrivée. Le reste de la semaine s’est bien passé. L’appartement est grand et spacieux mais l’entretien laisse à désirer : lave vaisselle en panne, grille pain abîmé, chasse d’eau qui se coince, fil électriques apparents dans la salle de bain donc danger d’électrocution potentielle…L’emplacement est quand à lui parfait et l’appartement reste malgré tout très agréable.

Parfait à part la récupération des clés

Parfait (attention 4ème étage sans ascenseur). Bien situé, parfait pour visiter. Une seule chose est compliquée: les clés sont à récupérer à un autre endroit ce qui est acceptable en voiture mais peut être un calvaire en cas d'arrivée en transport avec des bagages.

Perfect center for your adventures in Lisbon!!

This is a great VERY spacious apartment located in the perfect center of all of Lisbon's different areas. Everything was very close. Walking to a metro or bus terminal was super easy. Was also a very quiet area, a huge plug in a major city. The dining nearby was top notch, as well as convenience stores for anything you need. Overall a perfect location for us!

Love this apartment. The apartment and nice and spacious and the rooms and bathroom was clean. The balcony had lovely windows and the room is filled with light. Only con is it is on a 4th floor with no elevator so make sure you pack light. Great location. Walking distance to Alfama, the quaint little district of Lisbon!

Good Location but annoying check in process

In order to check in you have to go to the rental property's office which is a couple miles away from this loctaion. Of course since we hadn't checked in we had all our bags and had just gotten off a long flight. They don't tell you that the key pick up is at their office until 2 days before. We had to walk with our 2 large bags through Lisbon in the heat to get the key then walk back passed the train station in the opposite direction to the apartment. Really frustrating. The house was nice. I really appreciated the air conditioning. The master bed was not comfortable as it was just a foam pad so if you are not a good sleeper that could be a problem.

Misleading information from listing to the actual place

Feels like Home - don’t rent with them Better to put in straight all the wrong things that we’re not communicated during the checking (let’s keep in mind that confirmation email about the property comes after the card is credited and difficult to cancel) 1. checking process - by far the WORST as is located 3km away from the actual place. Who on earth does that specially when arriving at 4am in the morning. Rating -10 2. They tried to charge me again despite having paid reservation, and they fought me - only when supervisor came out it was cleared out 3. You get 1 KEY - yes 1 key (no code no cards ) and if you want a 2nd key they ask for a deposit and to return the key in the checking location (remember 3km away) at check out 4. The apartment has no elevator - so with 1 key it gets complicated to have independence when u are in a group of friends (in our case we were 4 friends ) 5. The bathroom wasn’t clean 6. The hot water heater only last for 1 person . The gallon capacity is 15L 7. The queen bed is a double and basically has no mattress (4 inch tall ) so is super uncomfortable . HARD mattress. 8. Sleeps 4 only if you have a partner or family - friends in a double bed very uncomfortable I 9.. Sofa bed in the living is unusable as has no sheets - when we call and ask for them the answer was NO 10. The hair dryer didn’t dry 11. The location is great - and that’s it
