Large Apartment in great Baixa Location

Spacious, clean apartment with nice large, well-equipped kitchen - plenty of pans, dishes, etc. The excellent location near buses, trains, and metro made for great sightseeing opportunities. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of seating for comfortable dining, card playing, etc. In the dining room. The downside - check-in could have been smoother and only one set of keys was available for two couples (although remote door opening was available from around 7 a.m. until around 11:00 p.m.) this may have been a temporary problem. The personal touch that comes with renting from an individual (instead of a company) was missing but so were the quirks that you sometimes find in individual - owned rentals). I recommend Baixa Blue and suggest that you try to nail down a convenient check- in process before you arrive.

Great location but…

It is in center of Lisbon which was great. However, the worst experience we have had with communication and a VRBO rental. Don’t bother trying to store your luggage in their welcome center as it is a 20 minute walk from the apartment and is more expensive then anywhere else you could find. No one picked up the phone and texts were not answered or answered only after a considerable amount of time had gone by. Freezer broken, only 1 pillow per bed and the only extra pill I found was stained yellow with no pillowcase. It was hot inside, even in the rain in October and not all fans worked. No extras such as coffee, tea or washing machine soap. Only one key fob to get in and no code available for the door which made it very inconvenient for a group if you did not want to all leave at the same time. I would not recommend staying here as their management was unresponsive and not very helpful, a lot of inconveniences that just kept adding up and in comparison to all other places we have stayed all over Europe was at the bottom of my list.

Wonderful Apartment right in the centre of everything

This apartment is very well located, very clean and well equipped. It conveys a wonderful atmosphere in its combination of classic and modern interior. We enjoyed our trip as a family very much. The apartment provided the opportunity to see extremely much in a short time and relax in between.
