Centrally located in UNESCO-protected Sintra, within just 100m from National Palace and tourist office, a 5-min walk to Quinta da Regaleira, and 15 min from the train station, Casa da Pendôa offers elegant apartments with scenic views of Sintra Mountains and Moorish Castle. The apartments blend modern and antique styles, featuring fully equipped kitchenettes, private bathrooms, and flat-screen TVs.

This studio is located on the ground floor and has a street entrance. This air-conditioned accommodation features a flat-screen TV, a kitchen, dining area, and private bathroom.

Please note that the access by car to the historic center is closed to traffic. You will need a proof of reservation to access by car and to drop of your luggage since you will not be able to park inside the historical center.
We recommend you to park at estrada da Macieira, the parking is free.

We loved the design and location. Located on a quiet street. Easy to walk 2 minutes to main square. The ceilings are low especially working in the kitchen area. The AC blew musty smelling air all the time which is while it smelled musty when we checked in. Probably should be serviced and cleaned.

The apartment was on the lowest level of the building with limited natural light. Its quiet while being just a few short steep blocks from the historic center's restaurants. This little town goes to bed early, so get your dinner at 7 when the cafe's open...by 10 you'll have few options. Arriving by car is harrowing on narrow steep twisty one way hairpin turn cobblestone streets: be forewarned! Self check-in was confusing since the entry to this unit is downstairs on the back of the building, not through the building's main lobby. Cell service is spotty at best, more like non-existent. Wifi is slow but a life saver without cell service. The Pena Palace, Moorish castle and initiation well are within long steep walking distance. If you're fit you will enjoy it, if not as previously mentioned, driving the circuitous route to these attractions is not for the faint of heart so think twice about staying in Sintra at all...regardless of which lodging you choose. Download the google map onto your device so you don't lose nav....you will need it to get out alive.
