This is unique Bed and breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much. The art throughout the place is very beautiful however this place is an art club so strangers are in the B&B during the day and evening. I did not like this.

Casa del’arte is hands down the most beautiful place I have ever stayed! I was so knocked out by the preserved antiquity, the stunning blue and white tiles and the elegant decor. Celine and her staff were wonderful and I will certainly stay there again! The proximity to Alfama was thrilling.

The property was built in 1787. It is owned and managed by a couple with Turkish roots. The service was outstanding with a breakfast daily. The yogurt was homemade and was to die for. The room was cleaned daily and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location was perfect for a stay in the Alfama area. It’s sad we stayed there so early as the owners are chefs and are planning to open a restaurant soon. With only 3 rooms the service was very personable and attentive. I would stay in this very quaint hotel again!!

Step back into time
This is a beautiful, unique hotel, full of artistic items. The room was huge, also the breakfast delicious. Location is great too, in Alfama area. Only upgrade could be a bigger shower…but in 1783, when this was built, people were a little smaller. Highly recommended especially if you avoid chain hotels as we do.

We loved our visit to the Casa dell'Arte Club House, this was our first visit to Lisbon. The place was gorgeous inside, first class accommodations, our room was amazing and the staff was very helpful. We had a lovely visit and look forward to returning next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa dell’Arte! We could have not picked a better location, safe and very central to all the areas we planned on visiting. Our room was large, very clean and simply gorgeous. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful… THANK YOU!!! We would definitely go back.

After having an atrocious first encounter in Lisboa with an airport taxi driver, we were met and treated like loved ones at the Casa dell Arte Hotel. It was a wonderful stay.

Best place to stay in Lisbon
A wonderful place to stay and great location. A small hotel with 3 rooms and they serve the best breakfast of any were that we have stayed. With 26 different ingredients, served in the wonderful dining room.

Reluctant to write this review as we want to keep this place to ourselves!!! We had the best stay ever at Casa Dell’Arte Club House, Everything was perfect, the place is beautiful and exactly as described. The breakfast provided was beautifully prepared and presented. Just to be in this beautiful home was a privilege, we wish we could have stayed much longer than the two nights. Andre was a fantastic host, nothing was too much trouble, thanks to him we enjoyed two unique restaurants that we never would have known about, he took care of everything, even ordered an Uber for us on his account as my App was not cooperating. Thank you Andre for a wonderful stay and your openness and friendly conversations. If visiting Lisbon, Casa Dell’ Arte and Andre are the icing on the cake. Thank you, Ken and Diane.

A very special place to stay
We only had an overnight layover in Lisbon so our stay was short but very special. The accommodations are stunning and the service was great. We would definitely stay there again but next time we will stay longer.

Excellent Hotel in Lisbon!
I was in Lisbon for the London Cats cat show in the Mercado right across from Casa dell'Arte Club House. Not only was the hotel very convenient but the staff helped carry things to the show hall and could not have been more friendly and pleasant. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated with fine antiques and our room had a grand view across the estuary. Our stay was perfect, it was like staying in our own home! Next time I am in Lisbon I will definitely stay at Casa dell'Arte!

Your own personal art gallery
Casa de Art is like staying overnight in your own personal home and art gallery. For that reason, don't expect it to be like a traditional hotel set up, which is what makes the experience so unique..you are in a beautifully restored home. The bed was super comfortable and the setting was beautiful, great location right by the old church.

Fabulous house - beautifully restored without loosing the 18th century feel. Great district - unspoiled and not commercialised yet. Our room had a beautiful view of the sea.

the concept for the place is that you are staying over at an art collector's house and it really feels like it. the walls are full of beautiful azulejos and art. there are only a few rooms rented and it does not have the feel of a typical hotel. they do clean daily and they have a coffee maker in the shared kitchen. but there is no staff on duty all the time. some will like it, some won't. really depends on your taste.
