A Great View in Town

This apartment is truly in the perfect location – slightly away from the hubbub of the historical centre, but close enough to walk there and to the famous avenida da Liberdade as well as Restauradores and Rossio squares. On your way back you can enjoy the oldest lift in Lisbon (1884), the "elevador da Lavra". Perfect for a quiet break while sightseeing.
Located on a high floor of a building with a lift, it has a fantastic view of the whole town, out to the Tagus River and Sao Jorge Castle. The neighbourhood is composed by a beautiful public garden with bars and restaurants around and is very well served by public transports to many places in town.
The apartment is classically elegant and very comfortable. You will feel immediately at home here, with its tasteful décor creating a warm and welcoming athmosphere. The living room is filled with light, with large windows and a wraparound balcony where you can enjoy the view. The kitchen is very modern and impeccably equipped.
The layout is the following: living room with lounge and dining area, two balconies, bedroom 1 (double bed, ensuite bathroom – bathtub and toilets, bedroom 2 (twin beds), bedroom 3 (twin 90 beds), shower room (shower and toilets).
Linens, sheets and towels are provided. The beds will be freshly made on arrival.

Marcos and Maria’s apartment was absolutely beautiful. We had a gorgeous view of Alfama, the castle and the river from nearly every window in the apartment. Everything was so clean and considerately staged for us. We could walk to and from Alfama and Baixa. There were lovely restaurants and a market nearby. We were so happy here!

Beautiful views, lovely spacious apartment!

Marc's apartment was delightful in every respect. It has ample space (in fact is quite large), a nice kitchen, balconies from two of the three bedrooms and delightful views and living spaces. Highly recommended for your stay in Lisbon! We hope to return.

Wonderful location, stunning views

Marco and his wife are wonderful hosts. I do not believe that there is a better view of the castle and the bay than from their 5th floor apartment. Opposite the apartment is a nice park. It is surrounded by great restaurants, the area is quite nice. There is a breakfast place across the street that serves yummy breakfasts. The location is great. The apartment is clean and spacious, we would stay there again.

A magical stay in lisbon

Great Apartment!! Great Host!!

Highly, highly recommended! Marc was an exceptional host. His home was beautiful with incredible views of the city. Beds, living area, and furnishings were all very comfortable and clean. The kitchen and utilities were helpful and easy to use. Marc even left us some local cheese and wine to celebrate our arrival. Marc also exceeded our expectations when our daughter left her jewelry at the apartment and he collected it and delivered it to us a week later when we returned to Lisboa. We highly recommend this VRBO and will plan to stay here on our next trip to Lisbon.

The absolute best

Where do we begin? The place is a real treasure for people who admire art and antiques and quality surroundings. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. There are two grocery stores close by and a lovely park across the street. And the best view in town. High quality windows that keep the city traffic noise to a minimum. We have stayed in countless VRBOs and we all agree this was the best. Coming from four women with high standards, that is saying a lot. We wish we were staying longer.

Lovely home

This is a lovely home with a beautiful view. Marcos is a great responsive host who does his very best to ensure you have a great stay. We enjoyed this property immensely and had a great time here. Very easy to get to city center and back too. Hope to be back someday.

Upscale modern apartment in central location of Lisbon. Host gave clear instructions and keys on check-in. He charges by number of guests so be sure to accurately list the number of guests for an accurate price or there is additional charge. Overall a nice apartment with a great view but a little bit pricey.

Great Views in Lisbon

My family really enjoyed our visit to Lisbon. Host met us at the property and was great. He went out of his way to offer restaurant suggestions and walk us thru his villa. We had a great visit and the home was very comfortable. We hit Lisbon at what I expect was the hottest 3 days of the year so we were a touch warm but expect the windows and fans do trick 99% of the year. Also, the views are really amazing.

What a week in Lisbon! First time and apartment was perfect. Travelled with family of 6 and had room

Apartment was fantastic! Plenty of room for family of 6. Great location. Kids really enjoyed park across the street. No AC and a little hot during the day but it was summer. Cooled off perfectly in the evenings.

Picture perfect

Had a great experience surrounded by the art of Lisbon area. We were able to immerse ourselves in the local atmosphere and feel like we experienced an authentic glimpse into the culture and food. The place was spacious and well cared for providing us with most everything necessary to make our stay both comfortable and enjoyable. Loved the place

spacious property with stunning furniture. Great view. Old world layout with public spaces at the entry and bedrooms down the hall with the kitchen at the far end of the hall. Our keys did not work to open the front door so make sure they work at check in. Well stocked kitchen. two elevators to take you to the rooftop for drinks.

Apartment and view that can’t be beat in Lisbon

We enjoyed everything about our stay, from the advance communication, to check-in, to the wonderful apartment itself, and checkout. This apartment really does have the best view in Lisbon! It was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and equipped with everything we could think of. Our hosts were so gracious - even letting us store our luggage before the apartment was ready when we had a change to Our train schedule. They were lovely, and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. Highly recommend!!

Five Star Views!!

We loved it! Our first visit to Lisbon and we enjoyed the authentic neighborhood and location for 4 days of walking, sailing and excursions outside the city. Marc’s apartment was his personal home which we respected. Our older kids had the rooms with the views as well. We enjoyed a night in and cooked in the well appointed kitchen. Cheers! We’ll be back!

Wonderful stay in Lisbon

We were four ladies in our 60's visiting Lisbon for the first time. The location of the apartment is very good and the apartment has a lot of charm. The living room, dining area and kitchen are very spacious and comfortable. The master bedroom and bathroom en-suite are very comfortable for a couple. The second bedroom is best suited for children/teenagers. The second bathroom has a very small shower. Overall we had a most enjoyable stay.

Our lovely Lisbon stay

We are five old friends who travel together each autumn. This year, we were so excited to visit Portugal, with Lisbon being the last stop on our two week trip. This apartment was absolutely perfect. It was spacious, warm and beautiful, very well appointed with spectacular views. Our hosts guided us to helpful neighbrhood ammenities (cafe, patisserie, grocerie store, local restaurants), which were all very close by. It was just a wonderful stay and we do hope to someday return to further explore this enchanting city.

Neighborhood location is a plus

We loved our stay at this beautiful property with a spectacular view! I especially enjoyed the neighborhood ambience. I did not feel like a tourist. The neighborhood restaurants were very good and I liked being able to walk to them. The hill was not a problem for my husband and me. Check out the Elavador do Laura that is 5 minutes away. It makes getting back up easy.

An Incredible Home to Enhance the Lisbon Experience

This home is off-the-charts amazing, as are the owners. It is beautiful with incredible views, fascinating decor, and comfort as well. When not admiring the views, we were admiring the stunning art, furnishings, and architecture. Marc and Maria are top-grade hosts that treat the renters as guests, unlike many managers. They provide recommendations for sites, restaurants, and anything else that would enhance your stay. We were even provided cheese, crackers, and Portuguese wine as a treat after a long trip. We are appreciative for the wonderful experience!
