Alto da Pirica 2: Top-floor apartment with a terrace, ocean view, and barbecue

  • Located in the centre of Ericeira, this apartment offers a great view over the rooftops of the historic centre and the Atlantic Ocean. Just a few minutes from North Beach (Praia do Norte), it’s centrally located yet still in a quiet area, with easy access not only to the beach but also to bars, restaurants, and supermarkets.
    Located on the top floor of a 3-story building, this apartment features a double bedroom and another bedroom with two single beds. It has an open-concept kitchen and a dining area that opens directly onto the terrace, where you’ll find a grill and can enjoy the sunsets. The view and proximity to the beach are the biggest perks of this apartment, where you’ll get used to hearing the constant sound of the waves crashing against the shore.

    The apartment doesn’t claim to be luxurious, but it offers a comfortable space with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Some of the decor is vintage, featuring original pieces from the early 1970s. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a bathroom with a showerhead. Towels and bed linens are provided.

    The bedrooms face Ericeira’s high street. The windows were replaced in 2018 and are double-glazed. Light sleepers may still hear some noise.

    If you are allergic to birds, please note that the neighbour has a fenced-in dovecote, which is naturally separated but visible from the apartment and which children especially enjoy watching.

    Please note: As of January 1, 2019, the local city hall in Mafra charges a tourist tax (similar to Lisbon and Porto) in accordance with Decree-Law 859-A/2018. This tax applies to all guests, except for children under 12 years of age and individuals with a disability of 60% or more. The tax is €2.30 per person per night (up to a maximum of 7 nights) from May through October and €1.20 during all other months. This tax is payable in cash upon arrival and is not included in the rental price. Thank you for your understanding.

A true home away from home. I spent almost 5 weeks in this property and I cant complain about a thing. The view alone was the selling point and where I worked remote and ate almost every meal. The host was so helpful with anything I might have needed and everyone I passed in the building was so kind and welcoming. I didn't have a car but the parking was a plus and good for any of my friends who might have come over for dinner or a night in the town. The proximity to town was also lovely such an easy walk to beaches and restaurants. I will be coming back for more summers and hope to stay here again!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Ériceira et ce logement a grandement contribué à notre expérience positive. Premièrement l’arrivée se fait facilement et le stationnement gratuit adjacent est très pratique. Ensuite le logement est grand, propre, très bien équipé et confortable. Ensuite la VUE est exceptionnelle! Quel bonheur de voir la mer du matin au soir et de souper le soir avec le coucher de soleil devant nous! L’environnement est vraiment bien! La mer et le centre ville sont accessibles à pieds. Merci pour tout. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter!!!
